Microsoft released the Xbox one and it received a decent amount of negative feedback. The Xbox 360 was a beautiful masterpeice and I believe it is time for the 360 to be put to rest and the new Xbox One to show its glory. What are advantages the Xbox one has over the 360? How will you influence friends to buy one?

New games that are coming out made exclusively for the One (and not One + 360) have way better graphics, at least in my opinion, than former 360-only games. And I agree with Oichi son -- the messaging system has improved immensely.

XBox has much better streaming apps that make it worth a buy. Also, it is backward compatible with more than a hundred older XBox games that makes it very useful for those who are fans of the older games.

I'm not sure I agree that the One has better streaming apps; seems like I remember the same apps being available on the 360. Or do you just mean that the apps work better on the One?

The only advantage i can think of for Xbox 1 is the message system

I somewhat agree the messaging system in the Xbox One was a huge advantage compared to the 360.

Personally, I prefer the Xbox One. The 360 is a masterpiece and slowly becoming more nostalgic as time passes. However, the Xbox One works for modern times. They're two main reasons people didn't like the Xbox One when it was released. First, Xbox fans were still clinging onto their beloved Xbox 360's. Second, yes, when the Xbox One was released, it did come with several glitches and faults that needed to be rectified. But since then, the gaming developers at Microsoft have really put in a lot of effort to overall increase the satisfaction of Xbox One gameplay, which I feel they've achieved.

Also, Xbox 360 are original die-hard Xbox fans. Those that came later and bought the Xbox One were kind of hanger-oners (if that makes sense).

Last but not least, regarding Ringo's comment. I think the streaming apps work much better on the Xbox One compared to the 360. So it is another perk for me personally to buy one if I didn't already own an Xbox One.
