Xbox One Achievements Not Working Offline only online

How annoying is it when you pay £430 for a console. To find out the one thing you mainly do ( achievement hunt ). Can only be done online. WTF. The internet in my area is down for 3 weeks. Now I have 2 options. 1 dont play the games until my Internet comes back on or 2 complete them twice over. This needs fixing !!

Hi Dean, thats not entirely correct. You won't earn any achievements while your offline but as soon as your Xbox One connects to the internet then you will be awarded all those achievements that you earned offline. So there's no need to do things twice. Hope that helps.

yup yup... it stores all your work/progress till you loggin. if your that worried try hot spotting your cellphone with xb1 when you go into the game it should update progress/achievements.

my internet went down mid racing on forza5 for about 2 hours. when i went back in game/online it updated and sent me a achievement when i was in a menu screen.

Yup, listen to the guys here. It's true. A friend of mine played with his Xbox One when his internet was down for about a week. When it was restored, all the achievements he was supposed to have achieved in Dead Rising 3 and NBA 2K14 were all unlocked. So don't worry, you'll get all the Achievements.

only problem i am having is with bf4... every lime i load it up it acts like i have not played ever.. i have to set my screen size. and it says something about china rising.... it keeps my battlepack unlocks and progression with my soldier... but as far as acheivments goes none.. i would be fairly close to unlocking the 100 games in 14 days of launch.

Ooooh. That's not good. I just hope the problems of the Xbox One don't extend to achievements though. I know there will come a time I'll play the console offline so if this is the case, then all my work in a game like BF4 will be for nothing. Definitely don't want to play the whole game again.

The web is down and I don't get achievements either. It has been so windy these days that my webs keeps disconnecting. I wish there was a way that my offline achievements would get saved and then adjusted to my score once I get back online.

The thing is you cant even check the achievement list offline either. How is that fair ?

Okay so wait - if you don't log on you don't get achievements? That seems kind of retarded, but then again this sort of thing is going to come up simply because of the many changes made so late in development. Remember this was suppose to be Always Online - this is just a reflection of that.

no it keeps all my unlocks and progression in game but it is not showing that i have spent any time in game. i have a few acheivments and quite a few unlocks and battlpacks.. but the exclusive xb1 acheivment of 100 matches in 14 days it shows 0 progress on im not mad about it just something i noticed.

the system has 0 care about achievements.. without internet achievement mean nothing. it stores that progress in game but without xbox live or being connected what is the point of the acheivments it goes towards nothing.. yes it shows them unlocked but does not tie in anywhere. once you login and it sees your progression it will add it to your gamerscore.
