Alan Wake: Coffee Thermos Locations
Episode 1 – Nightmare
Coffee Thermos #1: Right at the beginning of the game you’ll find this thermos by the bridge right before following the path to the lighthouse.
Coffee Thermos #2: In “A Writer’s Dream” in a bunker. The bunker is found shortly after you have been taught how to use the flashlight and revolver. You can find the thermos before you drop down from the hill.
Coffee Thermos #3: Found at the end of “A Writer’s Dream” on a log bench. As you reach the end of this chapter you’ll cross the bridge and arrive at a lighthouse where you will find the thermos.
Coffee Thermos #4: This thermos is found in the beginning of “Welcome to Bright Falls”. Look underneath the “Oh Deer Diner” sign and it should be in front of the kitchen trolley to the right side.
Coffee Thermos #5: In “Welcome to Bright Falls” when you have arrived at the cabin, head up the hill via the path. Once you have reached the apex of the hill you will find the thermos on the ground in front of the vehicle.
Coffee Thermos #6: Right inside the cabin in the kitchen in “Welcome to Bright Falls” you should find another thermos.
Coffee Thermos #7: In “Waking up to a Nightmare”, you’ll come across a dead body at the first logging camp. Near this dead body should be a pickup truck. The coffee thermos is found on the ground behind the truck.
Coffee Thermos #8: Found in “Waking up to a Nightmare” when you come across the river. After you cross the first log, head down to the left side and there should be a thermos on a rock at the end of this small island.
Coffee Thermos #9: In the second timber yard, the thermos will be in the far right corner as you enter the yard. It will be near the switch that you used to turn on the generator.
Coffee Thermos #10: Overlooking the third logging camp you can find another thermos lying on a boulder near the edge.
Coffee Thermos #11: This thermos is found in “Waking up to a Nightmare” right after finding the previous thermos. After you start the generator and you are attacked by some enemies, you can find the thermos to the right side on the edge of the cliff.
Coffee Thermos #12: As you enter the third logging camp on the caterpillar tracks of the yellow crane will be another thermos.
Coffee Thermos #13: When you reach Stucky’s Gas Station, you’ll find this thermos at the base of the gas station sign.
Coffee Thermos #14: Found towards the end of “Waking up in a Nightmare”, right before the entrance into the tunnel. You should find the thermos sitting on the ground near the front of a truck.
Episode 2 – Taken
Coffee Thermos #15: You can find this thermos inside of Alice’s office when you are in Alan Wake’s apartment.
Coffee Thermos #16: Found in “Bright Falls Sheriff Station” after talking with the doctor. Head all the way towards the radio room and you’ll find the thermos on the table next to the coffee maker.
Coffee Thermos #17: As you head inside the loading dock, you can find the thermos next to the radio on top of a Junker.
Coffee Thermos #18: This thermos is found in “Elderwood Nationl Park” as you walk behind the counter of the visitor center. You should be able to see this on the kitchen countertop.
Coffee Thermos #19: Inside of Rusty’s Cabin is another coffee thermos. Luckily, you can find it right next to the coffee thermos.
Coffee Thermos #20: Go around the front of Rusty’s Cabin before leaving Lover’s Peak and you will see the thermos sitting inside of the hot tub.
Coffee Thermos #21: In “Elderwood National Park”, there is another coffee thermos on top of the table that is inside the storage shed at the visitor center.
Coffee Thermos #22: Look in front of the tree behind the Park Ranger’s office in “Elderwood National Park” for this coffee thermos.
Coffee Thermos #23: Look on a rock shelf behind a broken shelf overlooking the tree ring. You should be able to see the generator and pay phone with the axe.
Coffee Thermos #24: On a picnic table at tree ring you should find another coffee thermos. It is found immediately after the sign that points you in the direction of Lovers’ Peak.
Coffee Thermos #25: In “Elderwood National Park” behind the sign by Lovers’ peak on the rocky cliff.
Coffee Thermos #26: You can find this thermos in “Elderwood National Park” after you climb the high angled fallen tree. Look on top of the table inside the hut with the generator.
Coffee Thermos #27: This thermos is located on the edge of a rocky cliff that is overlooking the old water mill by the river. You will find a Safe Haven right before you get to the generator.
Coffee Thermos #28: You can find this thermos when you go inside the old watermill building. Once you get to the top of the building and kick down the sandbag you can cross the small gap onto the other side. Keep moving in that direction until you see a window where a thermos on the table.
Coffee Thermos #29: As you enter the Camper Park campground, you should see this thermos sitting on top of a table.
Coffee Thermos #30: You will find this thermos on the ground in the back of a jackknifed big-rig truck. After you have gotten the truck in the campground area, take a right as you exit and you’ll find the thermos.
Coffee Thermos #31: In “Elderwood National Park”, you will find this thermos on top of a picnic table right as you enter the visitor center.
Episode 3 – Ransom
Coffee Thermos #32: This coffee thermos can be found on top of a picnic table next to two trailers and a yacht near a grill.
Coffee Thermos #33: On the kitchen counter inside of Rose’s trailer is another coffee thermos for you to find.
Coffee Thermos #34: In “On the Run” you can find another thermos inside of the Ranger’s Station on top of the stove.
Coffee Thermos #35: You can find another thermos on a boulder at the top of the hill, behind the searchlight.
Coffee Thermos #36: At the base of the large radio station, you should find another coffee thermos resting on the ground. Be sure to pick this up before going inside the station or you will need to reload the check point.
Coffee Thermos #37: In “On the Run” there is a fairly long path after the radio station. After you pass through the Safe Haven, take a right at the large stone. Keep following this path and you’ll find the coffee thermos on the edge of a cliff overlooking the radio station.
Coffee Thermos #38: Near the old barn in “On the Run” Look towards the right as you work your way towards the train depot in order to find it.
Coffee Thermos #39: You can find this thermos on top of some pallets in the storage yard near a ramp and gas canisters.
Coffee Thermos #40: On top of the concrete foundation of the silo is another thermos. IT will be on the right side when you open the fence to exit the train yard.
Coffee Thermos #41: In “Mirror Peak” there is another thermos sitting in a red chair. The chair will be looking over the cliff right before you go under the bridge.
Coffee Thermos #42: You can find this thermos tucked inside the corner of the blocked mine entrance at the museum’s entrance, near the coal mine parking lot.
Coffee Thermos #43: After the cutscene inside of the Coal Mine Museum, there will be a thermos on the floor when you drop downwards.
Coffee Thermos #44: You can find a thermos on top of another red chair at the top floor of the second warehouse.
Coffee Thermos #45: When you reach the partially collapsed bridge in “Mirror Peak”, you will find a thermos sitting at the end of the bridge.
Coffee Thermos #46: After you cross the rope bridge continue until you come across a red barn. The thermos is on top of a table in a red barn just short after the previous thermos.
Coffee Thermos #47: This coffee thermos can be found in “Mirror Peak” on the ground. Look inside the right side of the red barn at the Gray Peak Gorge Ghost Town after you have crossed the damaged bridge.
Coffee Thermos #48: You can find this thermos after the train. Look on top of a chest behind a shack with a fan sticking out. The key that you need to get inside the house will also be located near the thermos.
Coffee Thermos #49: Sitting on top of a log inside of a narrow cave is another coffee thermos. You’ll find it just after you encounter some Taken inside the cave. Look towards the collapsed left shaft.
Coffee Thermos #50: Look on top of the rocky cliff just after crossing the long rope bridge. When you cross the bridge it should be on the left side right behind a rock.
Coffee Thermos #51: For the last thermos of this episode look on the ground in front of a metal gate. If you find yourself on the opposite side of the fence you’ll need to travel through the house and when you drop out of the house head towards the back left and you’ll find the thermos.
Episode 4 – The Truth
Coffee Thermos #52: In “Cauldron Lake Lodge” the first coffee thermos is on top of the reception desk at the entrance of the lodge.
Coffee Thermos #53: On the mezzanine balcony overlooking the couches you will find another coffee thermos waiting for you.
Coffee Thermos #54: Right before you reach Hartman’s office, you should see another thermos on the windowsill.
Coffee Thermos #55: You will find this thermos sitting on the stone walkway just as you exit the lodge. There should be a sculpture in the middle while the thermos will be towards the right of the sculpture.
Coffee Thermos #56: Sitting on the ground in the gazebo is another coffee thermos. You will find it right after you have killed Birch.
Coffee Thermos #57: Still in “Cauldron Lake Lode” there is another coffee thermos on the stone wall on the on the raised middle of the garden. You know the right place because there will be a Safe Haven right there.
Coffee Thermos #58: At this point you should be at “The Anderson Farm” and you will find a coffee thermos on top of a small crate on the top of a cart platform.
Coffee Thermos #59: Once you reach the camping area, look on top of some fire logs that have been previously sit up for another coffee thermos.
Coffee Thermos #60: At the house in ruins, there will be a Safe Haven just before you come across Walter’s Cabin. The thermos will be sitting in a window.
Coffee Thermos #61: Inside of Walter’s Cabin, there is a coffee thermos on the kitchen counter.
Coffee Thermos #62: After you leave Walter’s Cabin, there will be another thermos sitting on the ground next to a rusty tractor. You will be in the truck at this point so keep your eyes peeled.
Coffee Thermos #63: Further down the road you’ll find another thermos resting on a tree stomp near another rusty tractor. The thermos should be near the intersection in the grassy area that seems to overlook the Anderson Farm
Coffee Thermos #64: You can find this thermos on top of the control panel next to Barry.
Coffee Thermos #65: This thermos is on a bleacher in front of the stage. The thermos is available before and during the fight with the Taken.
Coffee Thermos #66: In “The Anderson Farm”, there will be another coffee thermos on top of a table by the rusted car inside of the barn.
Coffee Thermos #67: For this thermos, look on top of a shelf on the third floor inside of the garage.
Coffee Thermos #68: This thermos is resting on a chair inside of the restroom in the Anderson house. To find it, turn towards the right as soon as you enter the house.

Episode 5 – The Clicker
Coffee Thermos #70: At the beginning of this episode, you’ll find the thermos on top of a filing cabinet close to the Deputy’s desk.
Coffee Thermos #71: On the counter of the information kiosk next to the water is another thermos for you.
Coffee Thermos #72: You can find this thermos sitting on the ground in the serving area of Oh Deer Diner.
Coffee Thermos #73: Afterwards, there will be another thermos sitting on the ground at the end of the road next to the port-a-potty and dump truck.
Coffee Thermos #74: This thermos is on top of a table underneath a tent and close to some plastic tables.
Coffee Thermos #75: Next of the Mayor’s office, there is another thermos on the counter in the kitchen.
Coffee Thermos #76: You can find this thermos on top of a bookshelf inside of the bookshop. You should be able to see the thermos from the window of the shop before you even enter.
Coffee Thermos #77: On the ground inside of the kiddie sandbox inside of the park is another thermos. You’ll find this one just outside of the bookshop.
Coffee Thermos #78: While you are in the cellar of the Bright Falls Church, there is a thermos sitting in the corner on the floor.

Coffee Thermos #80: Once you reach “Bright Fall Light & Power”, there will be a thermos sitting on top of a concrete barrier towards the right.

Coffee Thermos #82: Right after you encounter some Taken near the end of the transformer yard, there will be a thermos on top of a stack of pellets.
Coffee Thermos #83: When you reach the first control booth, there is a thermos sitting on the ground in the grass in front of the booth.
Coffee Thermos #84: At the second control booth, you’ll find another thermos sitting on the couch.
Coffee Thermos #85: Sitting on the ground in front of the security hut is another thermos. Look towards the corner just before you enter the power plant.
Coffee Thermos #86: Inside of the power plant, there is a thermos sitting on the ground between a bookcase and a table inside of Cynthia’s room.
Coffee Thermos #87: Before you take the elevator upwards, there is a thermos sitting in the grass inside of the giant concrete pipe.
Coffee Thermos #88: Sitting on the ground at the edge of the cliff overlooking the area below the elevator is another thermos. You should find this just after you exit the elevator.
Coffee Thermos #89: The last coffee thermos is located on top of a shelf inside of the final dam fortification at the bottom.
Episode 6 – Departure
Coffee Thermos #90: In “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” there is your first thermos on top of apicnic table at the rest stop. You’ll find it right after you finish the cutscene after your apartment.
Coffee Thermos #91: Resting on the ground on the side of the barn and next to a crate is another thermos. Be sure and grab this thermos while it is daytime before you head into the tunnel.
Coffee Thermos #92: In the Majestic Motel, there will be a thermos on the ground inside of the reception restroom.
Coffee Thermos #93: On the porch of the farmer’s cottage is another coffee thermos. It should be to the right of the bright garage barn.
Coffee Thermos #94: On the ground floor of the junkyard office and garage is a thermos sitting on top of a shelf.
Coffee Thermos #95: Near the crane base is another thermos resting on top of a stack of pallets.
Coffee Thermos #96: Sitting on top of a shelf inside of the Holloway and Company building is another thermos. This is the second to last house on the right before you reach the ruined church.
Coffee Thermos #97: On top of a mine cart bridge at the far corner is another coffee thermos waiting for you.
Coffee Thermos #98: You can find this thermos on the ground inside of a rail carriage. You’ll be attacked by some Taken as you start to get close to the carriage.
Coffee Thermos #99: This thermos is located behind the windmill at the mine encampment on the grass.
Coffee Thermos # 100: In “The Dark Place” is another thermos that is on the ground next to the sofa. You’ll need to use your light in order to make it appear.

Coffee Thermos #81: This next thermos is sitting on top of a concrete pipe inside of the warehouse. It is near the exit.
Coffee Thermos #82: Right after you encounter some Taken near the end of the transformer yard, there will be a thermos on top of a stack of pellets.
Coffee Thermos #83: When you reach the first control booth, there is a thermos sitting on the ground in the grass in front of the booth.
Coffee Thermos #84: At the second control booth, you’ll find another thermos sitting on the couch.
Coffee Thermos #85: Sitting on the ground in front of the security hut is another thermos. Look towards the corner just before you enter the power plant.
Coffee Thermos #86: Inside of the power plant, there is a thermos sitting on the ground between a bookcase and a table inside of Cynthia’s room.
Coffee Thermos #87: Before you take the elevator upwards, there is a thermos sitting in the grass inside of the giant concrete pipe.
Coffee Thermos #88: Sitting on the ground at the edge of the cliff overlooking the area below the elevator is another thermos. You should find this just after you exit the elevator.
Coffee Thermos #89: The last coffee thermos is located on top of a shelf inside of the final dam fortification at the bottom.
Episode 6 – Departure
Coffee Thermos #90: In “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” there is your first thermos on top of apicnic table at the rest stop. You’ll find it right after you finish the cutscene after your apartment.
Coffee Thermos #91: Resting on the ground on the side of the barn and next to a crate is another thermos. Be sure and grab this thermos while it is daytime before you head into the tunnel.
Coffee Thermos #92: In the Majestic Motel, there will be a thermos on the ground inside of the reception restroom.
Coffee Thermos #93: On the porch of the farmer’s cottage is another coffee thermos. It should be to the right of the bright garage barn.
Coffee Thermos #94: On the ground floor of the junkyard office and garage is a thermos sitting on top of a shelf.
Coffee Thermos #95: Near the crane base is another thermos resting on top of a stack of pallets.
Coffee Thermos #96: Sitting on top of a shelf inside of the Holloway and Company building is another thermos. This is the second to last house on the right before you reach the ruined church.
Coffee Thermos #97: On top of a mine cart bridge at the far corner is another coffee thermos waiting for you.
Coffee Thermos #98: You can find this thermos on the ground inside of a rail carriage. You’ll be attacked by some Taken as you start to get close to the carriage.
Coffee Thermos #99: This thermos is located behind the windmill at the mine encampment on the grass.
Coffee Thermos # 100: In “The Dark Place” is another thermos that is on the ground next to the sofa. You’ll need to use your light in order to make it appear.
