I found this video clip on IGN today, where someone was quoted as saying Grand Theft Auto might one day offer up a game including all the cities from the previous games. Could Grand Theft Auto 5 be the one?

Grand Theft Auto 5 is definitely the closest to that of anything they've done to date. I think Grand Theft Auto 5 is probably going to have the largest world of any video game to date... I can't wait for its release. :D

Well, I think it would be awesome to have a Grand Theft Auto with a world large enough to encompass all of the previous worlds, but like the clip pointed out, some of the previous worlds also centered around different times - like Miami in the 80's. I don't know how they could pull off a game that revisits all of the previous games without going back in time, too. I really wish they'd just re-do Vice City for the 360!

Samsim - I'm with you; a remake of Vice City for the 360 would be killer! Maybe one day...

Jane - I read somewhere that Grand Theft Auto 5's world is going to be larger than the worlds of several other games combined, including Red Dead Redemption and Skyrim, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's going to be an awesome game!

Grand Theft Auto 5 is not only going to include San Andreas but also some ski resort areas that represent ski resorts in California, and some areas of San Francisco will be included. There are going to be flyable airplanes and a lot of new vehicles, like jet skis and a ski chairlift .

To the poster who asked :How would they incorporate the GTA Vice City world into a newer game?", they could just use modern Miami Beach. There's still just as many drug dealers here as there were in the 80's and Ocean Drive still basically looks the same now as it did in Vice City.

^Whoa, where are you guys hearing that stuff? We'll get to visit real life San Francisco in this game and San Andreas!? That's amazing!

I would sure hope so. Could you imagine having all previous cities in one game. I doubt that it is GTA 5 but hopefully it is in a game in the future.

They really can't include Vice City in GTA V. Vice City is based on Miami, which is in Florida. GTA V is going to take place on the west coast. How would it make sense to have an in-game city set in the East Coast in a game based on the West Coast. I suppose DLC could be an interesting idea though. In my idea of the DLC you would see yourself landing in Escobar International Airport and walking out of the airport to either a taxi or ,if story permits, an acquaintance waiting to pick you up.

They said the GTAV map is suppose to be the largest they've ever had. Now I remember in GTA:SA driving from Carl's house, to Las Venturas. And that took a bit, but then they topped that with RDR's map. GTA3's map wasn't that giant, neither was Vice Cities if I remember. And IV's was decent, but nothing that driving around in game for an hour couldn't help you remember everything. That being said, it seems like they're pretty close already.

I'm so looking forward to the Grand Theft Auto V. I can't wait until it comes out. Definitely it will be one of the best games I will ever play. Looking at the graphics, it looks pretty good, and I can't wait to play as the character Michael. Michael he is my favorite character in Grand Theft Auto V. I'm waiting on this game to come out so badly to explore the hug map, and drive the new cool cars. Of course do some cool missions in the game.

I believe its like x5 of liberity city from what i have heard i would love for the vice city islands to come back i miss them with like the massive mansion i think all the gtas should just combine and have like 700 missions with different people.

How would you even go back to their glorious time periods? Would Vice City still be the insane awesome place after the 80's?

...wait, i got it, make a time machine mechanic!

There would totally be a time machine! I can see it now!

In all seriously, I don't think they would be coming out with one that had all of the worlds in it anytime soon. It would be hard for them to make a comeback with the one after that. I think that in order for them to be considering a game with all of them combined, they would have to be going bankrupt from lack of interest from gamers. And there is no lack of interest right now. It would be hard to follow such a game, so they would probably only do it if they viewed it as the last game ever, or as a sales booster to get gamers interested again.
