Even though I don't play CoD much anymore I would still pick Modern Warfare as my number 1 CoD game. I own Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops 1, and Modern Warfare 3. While I feel that MW2 has better guns and game play overall I don't like the fact that there are so many modders and hackers playing the game now. Black Ops 1 is great to me mainly because it's easy to play. You don't have to be a hotshot at first person shooters to do alright at BO1. There are several reasons I prefer MW3 over any other CoD game. Like Mortontfrh mentioned, the perks. You also don't have to deal with as much crap with sniper rifles as you do in MW2 and especially BO1. Let's be honest here. Sniping in Black Ops 1 is just awful. The biggest thing for me is the game play. Not in terms of smoothness but the speed at which the matches happen. I just like being able to spawn and in 2 seconds mow 3 or 4 guys down with a PP90 sub-machine gun with rapid fire and extended mags. Nothing beats the feeling of reverse spawn killing someone or throwing a grenade across Dome to kill an entire enemy team for first blood. It's also fun to run around with RPGs and blow people up. Especially when most people don't use blast shield and then whine and complain about someone noobtubing and using RPGs.
