The Bell Gargoyles are a lot of fun to fight. This is one of the first fights that you can use your white soap stone to go into someone else's world to help fight them or most definitely pull people to your world.
Alright here's some stuff you can do first.
Make sure to talk to Solair, because you can summon him into your fight.
On your way to the Gargoyles (next to where you fight the Summoner and the fifty million ugly hollows) there's a stairway where a balder knight is chilling. Kill him and break through the fake wall. There's a man in a cell. Help him out. Now head to Fire Link Shrine (there's a shortcut downstairs from there) and talk to him. He's hanging out next to the Fire Keeper locked in the hill. He'll say thanks and he'll have a summon sign as well up along the fog gate to the Gargoyles.
I would suggest summoning 1 to 2 helpers for this fight. You have a wide area to fight in and two angry gargoyles so its good to have backup (unless you're 1 v bossing in that case gl)
Here's a simple way to beat the Gargoyles, don't be in front of them. They will slash you and use fire attacks on you and fly into the air and cause general havok. You don't have to play that game, you get behind them or while your bro's are distracting them you jump in with a couple of attacks. Unlike some fights, you can't be still even if you're tanking because those fire attacks are ridiculous.
Make sure to attack the first Gargoyle's tail so that you get the Axe that comes with it. (you get the drake sword in similar fashion).
Eventually you'll find yourself face to face with not one but two gargoyles.
This is where its really nice to have some Dark Soul bros with you so that you can step back and try to get them to separate. If both gargoyles are together slashing and fighting you and spitting fire you're going to have a bad time.
Remember, try to stay relatively behind them or dodge well and they'll go down. Now go have a party and ring that bell!
By the way, there is a guy at the bottom of the tower that you climb to ring the bell after you ring it. He has a poison resistant ring. Its so wonderful.
