We have to have some love for indie games, right? Below is an indie game made by the developers of Sword and Sorcery. I have actually played the game for a few hours, and it's a pretty decent game. Below didn't get as much recognition as the bigger games announced at E3. The game looks pretty similar to SS, not many differences, but I would still recommend picking this game up if you haven't played it.

it doesn't look that bad to be honest, I will try it out but it doesn't look like it's my type of a game.

It's kind of hard to get much from that trailer, and I haven't played the original so I don't have much frame of reference either. I really like the art style though, I would definitely give this game a shot. I always like to support the indie games, especially when they're really original and think outside the box. I played the heck out of Castle Crashers on the 360, although the multiplayer barely ever worked right, I still regard it as a pretty great game.

Sword and Sorcery was very similar to this, you start off with a character, and move on to different places meeting new people and new enemies. I think the fighting was turn based, or based on reaction time, but it has been a while since I played the game. Unfortunately, the game wasn't enough to satisfy me, so I uninstalled the game after a few hours.

I just found out about this game - seems very atmospheric and I like that.
Judging by the ending of this clip I guess we'll see huge bosses/monsters?

This game has some great names and street cred tied to it already. The art style and the way they are performing their PR leads me to believe that this is going to be a great Indie launch. You're probably going to see a little bit of spit and spat about mechanics not meshing with the same type of games that the guys made before, but hey this is probably going to be a cheap and fun experience. What more can you ask for?
