I've bought the Turtle Beach X12 twice and they both broke. Also, I'm male and they are kinda big for my head. Anyone know of any good quality ones that are maybe a little smaller?
I've never used Turtle Beach equipment, but I've been using something like this since 2010 and it really is quite the experience.
The best thing about these is that they feel so light in your head that most of the time you just don't notice you're wearing them.
I'll leave a quick link for an Amazon purchase, but you can get them everywhere: http://www.amazon.com/eForCity-Comp...Headphone/dp/B0042J7I3C/ref=zg_bs_676963011_3
I disagree. Headsets are a great part of gaming, especially for footsteps and FPS games in general. Better headsets = the ability to hear who is close to you.
I would recommend buying a good headphone at least $100. May seem like a lot, but you'll be saving a lot of money since these headphones can last for a while. It's a better alternative than buying new gaming headsets every year. Brand names like Audiotechnica, or Beyerdynamics are good. They don't include a mic, so I would recommend buying a zalman clip on mic. The two combinations are fantastic for both PC and Xbox Gaming, so you can alternate between the two.
