The new year is just a couple of months away. With the dawn of the new year means a close to the previous year. Before 2012 comes to an end, let's take a look at the racing games that have graced the Xbox 360 and vote which among them would be considered the best. The poll closes December 31, 2012.

Forza Horizon is going to be the best racing game hands down. The award winning racing game already has a huge following. This time, they're changing it up and taking a more open road feel. I think this is a great direction for the Forza franchise and I expect them to expand on it with each game.

Forza Horizon, most definitely wins in my eyes! I am quite impressed with the game, and really enjoy playing it. It is one of my most placed games. I can't wait to see what else this company will come up with. It can only get better from here.

I'm currently playing Forza Horizon and I'm being blown away by its graphics and game play. I also have the new NFS but Forza blows past it by a mile! I'm betting my used underpants that Forza Horizon would win the best racing game for 2012!

I've played every iteration of the Forza series and loved everyone. Having played competitive multiplayer races in leagues etc, I'm really looking forward to this one, especially the open style - seems its headed in a new direction, which I find exciting.
