New characters, stages, modes, and story are just some of the reasons why BlazBlue fans should consider dropping the money on this "sequel."

New characters, modes, and gameplay refinements make Continuum Shift the best version of this great 2D fighting game.

For established players, the additional characters will likely be the main draw, but Continuum Shift's greatest strength lies in its ability to teach newcomers the ropes through its wealth of applicable tutorials that go way beyond what I've seen in other fighters.

I personally would give it a 4 out of 5 if I had been a reviewer. I've played the game extensively. But just like Guilty Gear did before it, the franchise starts to settle into this bubble of complacency where they start making minimal changes rather than work on a full new game. But for what it is, it's still great. Just more of the same though.
