Let's face it there are other series that are serious offenders here. And yes, while other studios do develop the games, we're inundated with COD, AC, and Madden/sports games almost every year. There pumped out at a fast rate and are never quite as great as they could be. I'm thrilled that COD is now a 3 year release game and honestly there are plenty of series that could do the same. The series that needs this the most to me is Madden.

I can't agree with you more. They have to make a new Call of Duty game soon. Madden can really wait.

Madden wasn't that bad, so I don't really mind it. But it could have been much better if they can have a new COD sooner than 3 years.

we will stil get yearly cod.. they have 3 developers working on the games.. so its going to be a procession.. every year we will get a cod but it will be a different developer/branch.
its just a marketing strategy..

Nice, well that makes me even more excited for the game.

I have to agree with you. Can't some of these series have a break? It gets annoying already.

The 3-year COD is true.... for an individual developer. You probably didn't hear but COD will still get yearly releases, but from different developers. This year's developer will be Sledgehammer. Their last development was Modern Warfare 3. So technically, they're still doing yearly series but we're getting a different flavor.

THIS. Yup, yearly releases. We need a break from these games 'cuz c'mon, it's going to get redundant every year. We need a break! (And that's why there's always other games to play when the yearly series get redundant).

That's right. We need something new and not something that we see all time time. Or something that gets recycled and made into a new game.

Another potential yearly series that might need the break: WWE 2K. I saw it in action recently in Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer..... and it still looks like the PS2 game I used to play back in the day. It doesn't look that different from the games years before.

Aww. They should improve it for the next generation gamers to enjoy.

They should man. I saw that portion too and though the PS3/360 games are well-improved over the PS2 games, it still looks the same. It's like how you put the graphics from low to high when you play PC games. I heard the devs just use the same in-game engine from the PS2 games before, only improving on the animation and details but not doing a big change.

I've checked the video comparisons and well, I have to say, the graphics did improve from the PS2. Maybe you're only saying that they look the same 'cuz you've played the games so long that they look all the same. Or maybe you haven't played the games for a while so seeing the last-gen games now just feel the same. Well, hope they can at least make 2K15 on PS4/XB1 awesome-looking.

Have to agree with spark_777. It does indeed look better than the PS2 games BUT yeah, could look the same to you since you were expecting that the wrestlers look realistic. Devs better make some shifts to the engine for 2K15 soon.

Oh and as for the yearly series, yeah, they got to extend their release schedule. It gets annoying when you have to play another entry in the game without any significant changes year after year.,

They will man. They should. I mean, what would a gamer say if they see something that isn't next gen on Xbox One, with low graphics and all. They won't like it. So they will improve the whole thing.

They got to. If they can do that, I might just buy myself the game. I need to see it happen. Yukes's got to up their game here.

They have to. If they don't it would be quite a disappointment for all gamers.
