Xbox One Can You use the same profile on the Xbox One?

Can you use the same Xbox Live profile on the Xbox One, and the Xbox 360?

I am asking because when i bought my Xbox One. i did not even try to sign in with my Xbox 360 account. Simply because i thought that it would not be possible. Now i am seeing some of the same people from the Xbox 360, on the Xbox one.

Are they just using the same username? Or is it the same account?

Yup, that's true actually. You can use the same profile. As I remember, thedoodseven signed up for a Microsoft account and you can see the games he has played via his avatar pic. They're all Games for Windows (except for Project Spark Beta). But it shares the same interface as the ones in the Xbox 360.

yup, everything is tied to the one account. You can even be on the same account on both systems at the same time (ex: skype on xbone while playing a 360 game)

Yes, you can use the same profile. No problem there. So enjoy! You can use the same profile. Same thing with Sony and the PSN. You have a PSN, you can use the PS3, PSVITA and PS4 with it.

That 's great because i still play my Xbox 360 a lot. i am sure that will change when more games are released for the Xbox One, but for right now. That is exactly what i wanted to hear. I hope everyone else knows about this. So that i won't have to redo my friends list.

That would be a headache, because i have a lot of friends online.
