Xbox One Chinese Assassin's Creed! They're making it but not really.

I was kind of excited and disappointed with this announcement. It's good that Ubisoft is trying to make something a little more different by changing the scene but it's not really a full on AC game more of a 2D side scroller which is BS. But I think Ubisoft is just testing the waters with this one. I can see a new AC game set in China sometime in the future.

They're trying to revitalize the franchise by building new stuff, not really what I'd call a bad move, plenty of other developers are doing the same with their IPs. On the other hand, at a quick glance, it looks gray and uninspired. Hopefully you're right, they're using the game as a test setting - a full blow AC game set in China would be sweet.

Yeah I mean the concept is not bad for mobile game but for a DLC game made for a console? Not really. I honestly think that they will make an AC game set in China or Asia or a whole new different scenery altogether that is if they're not going to follow up Unity. But quite frankly I'm kind of tired of the west and so far they've managed to cover the major parts of the western history.
