Jen Taylor, the voice actress of Halo's A.I. companion Cortana, will reportedly lend her talents to Microsoft's voice feature of the same name, according to MSFTnerd.

According to the site, Cortana, Microsoft's answer to Apple's Siri, will launch first in beta this April in the U.S. for Lumia devices. The feature will hit the iPhone Bing app this fall, also in the U.S. The report also says Cortana will come to the Xbox One and Windows users in North America in 2015, and the feature is expected to launch internationally in 2015 and 2016.

Pretty neat stuff for the few Windows phone owners out there. I think MSFT's efforts to link all their products to the same property space can actually pay off for them in the long run and while small details like this won't make a huge impact, it's still very cool to see happen. What do you guys think?

Hohohoh. Cortana Siri? Ohohohhoh lala. I've yet to play Halo 4 but I did hear her voice in gameplay videos and damn would I love to hear her say "Xbox". Oh man! It tingles me with excitement. :-D

Well, didn't know an Xbox character is getting the Siri treatment. Inspired by that movie Her much? Man, if I start hearing news about Xbox One gamers falling in love with their consoles literally, I'm going to see the world end!!! XD

Well you can always answer your phone while wearing a Master Chief costumer...you know for some role play...LOL

Whohohohoh KN1GHTMARE. Hahaha. You sure got a crazy idea there. Wait a sec... have you done that yourself? :-D

I think it's good that Microsoft is still committed to the Windows phone even though not as many people use it. At least they are still working on it to attract more buyers.

She has a very attractive voice, that's for sure. Thank you for posting the article. It was an interesting read. I don't use a Window's phone, though. Disappointing.

No, but only because I'm afraid of the strange looks I would get from my wife.

Haha. Same here. If I did that my wife would have strange looks and probably will bash me with anything she's holding. Well it's cool that they've chosen her for the job. She has a cute voice.

for me it's sexy. haha.

I'd be creeped out though if this Cortana starts tallking to me and starts watching me doing stuff with the Kinect. Then I'd know something is up. But until then, oh yeah, that sexy voice is going to be saying things all day long. 2015 (or 2016) can't come soon enough!

Yeah, I think you shouldn't do that XD.... yet. But yeah, no no no. Don't do that. You might so into that cosplay you'll suddenly lose track of time and THEN you'll get more strange looks from your wife when she suddenly catches you doing that.

Yeah, that would creep me out too. She'd be the new Glados!!! Man, that would be a creepy idea indeed. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Haha. My wife would really hate kinect.

Hahahaha. Then the NSA will be confirmed! Or.... the Dawn of the AI! Oh man, that'd be creepy. We may already have the Age of AI early than we thought :P

True.I hope they don't have anything spying on us. Haha. Well we are close to the age of AI.
