Xbox One Did not get update?? Anyone else have this problem

I have rebooted xbox1 over and over still nothing all my friends have it and I cannot party up with them until I get it. Just wondering if there is anything I can do.
 
Just wait dude, not everyone is going to get it at once. The update is rolling out at different times for everyone but you will get it today for sure.
 
Well I got mine on Tuesday, but I'm sure since it's being rolled out, it will vary for everyone.
 
Did mine today. The previous posters are right. The update goes around at different rates for different people. If you haven't gotten it yet, you'll get it soon since it's automatic. It shouldn't be an issue. If you're worried I'm sure there's an announcement on the xbox homepage that might tell you when you're region is getting the update.
 
i dont see why they dont release it via time zone... east coast first and work its way across in the hr/2hr increments.. they can already push the download thru in the background it only makes sense..

It doesn't make any sense to release it on every time zone. They could have just released it for all at once.
 
if they are worrying about sheer numbers trying to download lagging the connection. which is what zoned releases would do. and is exactly what they are doing now only in a random fashion.

what would be better random release or a thought out one. i would much rather wake up and have my download same time everyone in my time zone did rather than my neighbor get it and me wait till 8pm to get mine.. while you may have friends across the world who play i know i tend to play with people semi local to me.
 
It is a good idea to spread it out as per time zone because most young players tend to have their friends in local areas. Besides it would be more organized doing it this way. I got mine on Tuesday but some of my friends hadn't.

I agree. They should do that every time.
