So let's talk a little about this game.
Have you played it? I have, and I'm still playing, and I can only say I love this game.
For me, it surely is the best platform game of this generation. The animations, the mechanics, the graphics and sound effects approach, everything was beyond perfect.
I actually felt like playing a fun platforming game on the PSX again.
I still play it with friends when they come over. So, did you like it?

I really like it too, it's one of those rare games that are good both as a solo player and as a multi-player. And it looks fantastic, especially on a big screen! It takes me right back to when I used to play the original on the PS1 with my little brother...3D is good, but sometimes you just want a good solid 2D platformer.

Exactly my opinion, Miku! :)
Rayman Origins was a huge slap of 'back in the old days'! It was so vivid, so fun, so entertaining.
I hadn't played such a great platforming game since Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and that was back in the PSX. The PS2 started having some identity problems with Crash and later in PS3 that had completely forgotten about it.
In Origins it looked like you were playing with real cartoons, and not some 'realistic' characters. That's what was so amazing about it in my opinion :D

I have only tried it, I must admit, but what I did play was excellent. I love the graphics, the game has excellent 2D art and the gameplay is mad fun. I need to get into it sometime soon... if I take too long, the Vita version might become a Playstation Plus freebie before I start the 360 version!
