Dirt 3 may be the best racing game I’ve played in the last decade. It’s certainly the best one that takes place on surfaces other than tarmac.

Codemasters has made a good name for itself with this franchise’s heart-pounding racing and arresting graphics – which are even more striking with the inclusion of night driving and falling snow. The renewed focus on rally racing and the addition of Gymkhana keeps it in good shape, even as it pares down some of its previously interesting career aspects.

While Dirt 3 takes surprising steps backward in terms of social networking, thereby limiting its addictiveness, it’s still the best way to head off-road without winding up in the hospital.

It’s a superb racing experience and shouldn’t be missed. While the agent isn’t the best leader through the tour, and the garage is limited in its operation, the solid gameplay, variety of tracks and events, and overall fun factor make this a terrific game.

I love racing games, but my favorite kind are the ones that take you off the road and into the elements. Rally racing has always been my preference. Actually (cue harps and clouds), my money-no-object dream is to actually rally race across Africa. I'd probably roll and kill myself, though. For now, videogames will have to do the trick. DiRT 3 certainly does the trick.

I really want to put a 5, but some things are displeased me in this game but I can not really say what is it?

I still give a 4 because I really enjoyed this rally game. The best game in its genre.

I might have liked a unvivers a little more fun? I do not know how to explain it. I can not express my joy to play this game with the inside view.
They made a new racing game, but they removed the interior view .... That is very unfortunate.

Anyway, this is the game you should try at least once on consoles.
