Xbox One Disney Infinity reviews go live: Get all the reviews in one place

Thanks for sharing this with us. I keep walking by a cardboard cut out at our local department store with this game title and all the charactors but had no clue what it was. It seems skylanderISH withought actually BEING skylanders. It seems more for the younger crowd but I can't speak for anyone but myself.
 
It's funny, working at a game store, I figured this was just going to be a cheap cash-in on the Skylanders fad. According to reviews, the game is supposed to be pretty good though.

I've become jaded however, and can't justify spending 80 bucks on a game. I'm not that big of a fan of Disney either. However, this is seems like a Disney/Pixar fans are in for a HUGE treat.
 
Thanks for the post! I'm kind of excited to see how this game does. Growing with these movies, its good to see all of them in the same game! It's also interesting how mixed the reviews are! Forbes gave it 9/10, yet DigitalSpy gave it 2/5- that's very different!

I would say Forbes is rating it in terms of experience and DigitalSpy is rating it like a game, which in the end, isn't that cheap and that good in terms of other currently released games.
In my opinion, for what i have seen, it's pretty cool, but the whole toys thing really throws me off because of the price.

It's pretty much made to be a competitor to skylanders. And since it has the Disney brand on its side it could very well prove to be a great competition.

All the kids recognize the characters instantly and I can definitely see the parents buying these to their children.
 
Wait... this is a game? Looked at a gameplay video, and it doesn't look like a game I would play. Maybe Forbes, and the other high raters had a thing for cartoonish games, while DigitalSpy and Gamesradar didn't really have an eye for that because of the low ratings. A bit harsh, but nonetheless, looks like a decent game for kids.

I think your right. It might be a big Christmas hit. I suppose even older gamers who are into Disney big time would enjoy collecting this game, whether they played it or not. I couldn't even really get myself interested in Skylanders but maybe that's just not my type of game. It has a cuteness factor and I'm sure once released I will hear more about it.
 
The thing is, if Xbox one console will only play Xbox one games, I'd be leery of spending big bucks on this unless you don't plan on upgrading soon.im still struggling with that one. We death with with the playstation fine but we have so many 360 games.

I am glad that you think the exact way I do. I mean, I don't feel like laying caartonish games unless it's Little Big Planet :)
