Divekick: Addition Edition will bring the two-button fighting game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with reworked characters.

Developer Iron Galaxy Studios detailed the expanded game on a stream Wednesday, Shoryuken reports. The expansion will also be made available on PC, PS3, and PS Vita at no extra cost to current owners.

All thirteen characters are set to receive significant revisions to their move lists (which is to say, their two special moves) and their general attributes. At least one new character will join the roster, which is largely populated by fighting game community parodies and in-jokes like S-Kill and Dr. Shoals.

I've played this game for PC and it truly is a challenging fighter. It's far more complicated than it first appears and can get quite competitive. I'm very happy happy it's coming to next gen consoles! Have you guys played the game before? Leave your thoughts below.

Honestly, I haven't heard of it at all. Do you have some pictures or videos that can help me imagine what this is all about.

I've played this before, but I wasn't able to play it that long since it was installed on my friend's laptop. The game was really great and yeah it would be really nice to see this on Xbox One. I'm glad the are considering it.

I have no idea this game existed, but I did check the pictures online on google. It looks okay to me. I'd love to have this game.

Yes, this is Divekick. Not joking you. ;-D

I have this in my Steam account and I got to say, it's fun. I'm not gonna say it'll replace great fighting games like Street Fighter BUT... it really adds a lot of fun when it comes to gameplay. All you have is 2 buttons but each character you play as have their own variation of the moves and their own special moves. How you use them is the strategy. Some are simple and some are complex. All you have to do is make good use of the dive and kick. Even the low-tier characters can be used to mow down some of the complex characters down. ;-D

You should. Hahaha. I laugh 'cuz I didn't think a game like this even existed or even made. It's just one of those games where it looks like some flash game you play online but the more you play, the more fun it gets. I tell ya, when you start getting your ass whooped down many times, you'll want to master many of the characters here. XD And you'll laugh at the stories.

True, true. The stories are really funny. Tongue-in-cheek everywhere! It really just goes a lot for laughs. But strategy is still needed in this game. That's why sometimes, even if you lose, you can still win if you know how to use the characters well.

Hahaha. Divekick making it to the Xbox One. I heard about this already weeks ago. Awesome news for those who've yet to try this game. I'm not calling it a GOTY BUT nevertheless, it's a fun diversion from all the serious games out there. Just bring a friend with you, use 2 buttons and just kick some butt!

Agreed man. This game is a great distraction when you're bored. Nothing like diving and kicking with style. My favorite character has to be that fat guy dressed up in a kid's pajamas XD

Looks cool, is it still available for download on steam?

I have this as well. I think it's a great game to add on Xbox One.

Thanks for posting this. I like the game already.

I'm not a big fan of the game when it started but when I saw that there were a few people playing the game on my neighborhood I started getting back to it. It's really simple but the game is really nice.

Hell yeah! Here's a link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/244730/ ;-D Enjoy!

No problem dood. So what you see, is what you'll be playing on the Xbox One. ;-D Just a few minutes, and you'll be laughing your butt off at the sheer awesomeness of this game. But don't underestimate the characters. While some might suck, their skills will come in handy against the strong ones.

Hahaha. This game's cool. A great time-waster when you're bored of playing some of the AAA games or if you just like to have some fun and laugh. Glad it's coming to the Xbox One. Now, all of ya Xbox One owners can have a taste of the dive AND kick!
