Watching TV on the Xbox ix suppose to be one of it's big features.

The question is, do you actually use it. I don't it just seems like too big of inconvenience, and a waste of energy. I already have cable box with HDMI output. Why would i need tto watch cable through my Xbox One? It's just a dumb, and useless idea.

However that is my opinion. That is why am asking the question. Do any of you actually use the Xbox One to watch TV?

I actually do. For me, it is easier utilizing the pass through functionality.

How exactly is different from using a regular cable box? Does it enhance the experience at all? I have an Xbox One, and i am looking for reasons to use this feature.

No. It is a wasteful feature and I don't think anybody uses a console for TV.

I use it all the time.very convenient to switch from xbox to tv.just say xbox watch tv and bingo you are watching tv.

I haven't used it at all. My girlfriend uses it, but I feel that more trying to make the Kinect worth its cost...because you know, lifting that remote, changing over to the TV feed, and either punching in a number or going favorites is hard, man.

Yes, I really need an extra thing that allows me to watch television, through my television! How did I ever survive without such an invention!?

I don't always use the Xbox One guide, but I do keep my TiVo hooked thru it for easy switching to play games, watch
apps and things like that.

Also frees up an HDMI input. :) Why waste multiple inputs and have to switch manually when you can use voice commands to seamlessly switch between everything.

No. I only use it for gaming. TV is a wasteful feature for me.

Haven't used it at all and doubt that I will. I rarely watch TV as it is so this is a feature that I have no need for.

Most of the people think that it is a bad feature and they should have offered more attention to the gaming part.

No I don't. I tried it once but I didn't quiet like it. I prefer the original method. I guess I just like the old way better than the new.

Never once used it, and I don't think I ever will. I mean, why would I?

not at the moment... i really want a time warner app(like360) i miss it....

i dont use the pass thru function as i dont have a cable box in my room.

I have tried all the TV apps and I can say that they're pretty neat, but I'm not a fan of them.

Nope, never. Put in a few DVD's and movies to watch off of a hard drive, but never watched actual television through it. It's always seemed very silly ever since they announced it.

I don't. It doesn't really benefit me, and honestly I looked right past it until my friend mentioned it to me one day when we stopped playing to watch TV. It seems like an additional feature just thrown out there on the off-chance someone might actually use it.

Same here. Why would I right? That would even be a waste. I'm paying for cable service.
