Xbox 360 Do you turn away when you see the 'REQUIRES KINECT SENSOR' label?

Does the Kinect hinder your purchase possibility?

Hello gamers,

The Kinect is something I have yet to try. Only reason I haven't bothered with it is that it looks too gimmicky. It depressingly reminds me of the Nintendo Wii.

The other day, Avengers: Battle for Earth was released. It looks like it actually works, but it's the Kinect that's keeping me away.
I don't know, I may just be used to the controller. Wish they could just make games that are compatible for controller and the Kinect sensor. :/

How about you guys, any Kinect games that deserves a shout?

Child of Eden, and Kinect adventures is what I have. both really fun. Kinect adventures is like a little kid game but still fun. And Child of Eden has some pretty sick music to go with the game

I do most of the time. But for some games, I don't mind that label. I'm one of the few that actually gave Kinect a chance. But time and time again, too many of the games that I personally wanted fell flat. The biggest culprit was Steel Battalion, the one game I thought would redeem Kinect as a gaming device.

The tech itself is good, but it's starting to look like it's not exactly viable for majority of games. But who knows, maybe someone will figure it out eventually.
