Xbox 360 Double XP

I was reading about Halo 4 earlier today and came across an article that was talking about Halo 4's XP. I guess I've been living under a rock, because I didn't know that Halo 4 has teamed up with Doritos and Mountain Dew to offer double XP to people who buy those respective products. Is anyone here doing this for the double XP?

I haven't bought any Mountain Dew or Doritos here lately, but it seems like they were doing that with Halo 3, too. I got on a kick there for a while where the only potato chips I bought were Doritos (they're already my favorite chips to begin with) and the only 20 oz drinks I bought were Mountain Dews. It was nice getting the double XP for a few matches.

Hey, I didn't know about this! Thanks for the heads up, Brian. I'm not all that crazy about Mountain Dew, but I love Doritos. If you buy a bag of Doritos, how long do you get the double XP for? And where do you go to redeem it?

I've been doing this for a while now, because we keep Mountain Dew and Doritos in our house. I've been redeeming those codes for double XP matches for so long now that I don't even like to play if I can't get double XP for it.

Tim - I think the last time Mountain Dew did this, it was with one of the Call of Duty games, Modern Warfare 3 I think...

Anyways, I've been buying Mountain Dew for a little while now and collecting the caps for the next time I get on a Halo kick. Here lately I've just been playing Call of Duty, but once I get about 10 of those caps saved up, I'll start itching to play Halo for the double XP.

Does anyone know for how long Mountain Dew and Doritos will be printing those codes for double XP? Also, does anyone know if any other soda or chip brands will join in?

I don't know how long the points are good for. I have only seen them on Doritos and Mountain Dew so far. You would think other Pepsi products would have them too. I don't buy other Pepsi products though. I wasn't keeping and tracking these points but I am going to start. What can I get with them?
