Looks like we will get to hug and cuddle with our games for a few days while anticipating our new consoles.

Electronic Arts has confirmed the street dates for three of its next-generation games, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4. In a blog post, chief operating officer Peter Moore stated that all three games will launch on Nov. 19 (Nov. 21 in Europe) for Xbox One...

Xbox One launches on Nov. 22, so games will be available on sale for consoles not yet launched. This has happened before in console launches, as publishers seek to stick to conventional schedules and avoid distribution issues prior to the big hardware arrivals.

All three of the games will have launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 prior to next-gen arrivals; EA said retail programs are in place for players to upgrade for $10 and players could "carry over a lot of cool content" from one version to the next, like unlocked items and Ultimate Teams.

I think this is a smart move, since I personally prefer not having to pick up everything on the same chaotic night. It's bad enough to be at a midnight release, with out having a dozen items to pick up. Now if only I could also pick my controller and Day One Edition Xbox Live early as well. Hopefully we'll see more announcements like this from the rest of the publishers prior to launch.

Looks good :). I have taken off for that entire week so I am ready!

I ma not interested in what EA has to offer except for Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefront. I am going to get BF 4 for my PC since playing it on PC is the best option.

That's is great! The good thing is that the games can be bought before the console so I won't have less stuff to buy at the release and can go ahead and get out of the store. Also, it will give me a chance to spend some quality time with the games before I play them. I can read over the package and guide a billion times first.

Isn't it odd we've heard NOTHING about next-gen Madden at this point?

This is a smart move nonetheless. Fair to both companies.

Yeah, I'm more than a little hesitant based on how little they've shown and their past tries with rushing games out on a new console. Although they seem to be putting all their marketing behind Fifa. Maybe they think Madden will sell itself in the US?

Definitely something cool to do. Didn't the same thing happened when the Wii U was released back in the day? This gives time to get the games, look at them and get hyped, so you don't have to carry too much money when buying the console.

I like the bit about charging 10 bucks. Oh EA, you silly guys. I really want to see the dates for Mirror's Edge and Battlefront. Enough with all of these franchises, let's get on to the stuff that we haven't seen all that much of.

I think the real issue is that it'll just be a next gen port and not a true next gen madden.

I wonder how much it would cost to buy all three? Perhaps they could do a bundle for the titles.
