Xbox One EA wants to make jaw dropping Star Wars games

I think that it's a bold statement but I doubt they will live up to it . The last jaw dropping EA game that I played was Dragon Age Origins, and after that it was all tripe. They have been showing some signs of improvement, but definitely not enough to make anything jaw dropping.
 
I don't think they can. If there was a publisher that i would want to see a great game coming out of, EA would be my last choice. All they do is average triple A games nowadays, and there is no way they will go back into the glory days of Battlefront.

That's a tall order. Why oh why do they get our hopes up like that? We know the odds are not good. It would be amazing if it was possible though.
 
I can't wait for it. I had tons of fun with the old Battlefront games. EA has a lot of strong titles under its belt so I have a feeling that the new Stars Wars will be no different. Hopefully this is released in 2015 or later so that they can really tap into the next gens potential and take their time to craft something legendary. I'm keeping my eye on this for sure.

I for one wouldn't hold my breath for a good SP campaign, but you can bet that MP is going to be freaking awesome since it's Dice who is developing this game. They have only done good to BF series and Mirror's Age.
 
Well, I hope the game is at least decent instead of being a rushed cash-in on a popular franchise. I don't consider EA to release truly terrible games most of the time, so I'm guessing it will be good.
 
I enjoy Star Wars video games so much. Although I don't watch the media at all, I enjoy Star Wars itself. I wish EA would come out with a new jaw dropping Star Wars game. I loved Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1 and 2.
 
How could any Battlefront fan not be stoked that Dice is working on the next iteration?
When I first played battlefront as a demo on the original xbox that came with the DVD trilogy the first thing that popped into my head was battlefield. I was actually amazed to find out that it was not developed by the same team.

To me it seems like a natural fit and all but guarantees that the battlefront feel will remain intact.
 
It is a little bit hard to believe. In my opinion, EA have never really released any jaw dropping games. And being a fan of Star Wars itself, I would not like to see a bad game made. But if they can live up to their promise of a jaw dropping game then I will definitely buy it.
 
I love Star Wars. I loved Star Wars battlefront on PS2 so I guess they can make something even more astonishing and better with modern technology. Lets see what they make. I bet it will be very good.
 
I'm a bit tired of all this star wars hype that's been going on for a few years now... Making a new movie, creating the MMORPG, the angry birds games and so on. I would jump on the hype train if they would make a fighting game or an RPG where you could play the Darth Vader/Yoda story, that would be awesome!
 
They better make our jaws drop. Their sports games have turned to crap. I haven't enjoyed EA sports titles since 2010's versions of the games. The company was voted the worst in America. They need an overhaul. I don't believe a word out of their mouths right now.
