A couple of friends of mine were talking about Assassin's Creed 3 and they mentioned something about "Easter eggs". Does anyone here know what they are referring to?
According to IGN's website, Easter Eggs are hidden secrets and "pop culture references". It looks like IGN has videos for a few of them, including one where a turkey turns into an assassin and another one where the game references the movie Hackers.
Do you have to discover the Easter Eggs in order to get 100% completion on the game, or are they just an extra feature of the game, to give you something to look for?
Usually, Easter Eggs are just extra. I don't really know about the ones in Assassin's Creed III, but if it is like most other games (and I have no reason to think it isn't), then they aren't required for 100% completion.
