Xbox One Eidos Montreal announces new Deus Ex for Xbox One

Awesome news for all of our Deus Ex fans (like me!).

A new Deus Ex title is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Eidos Montreal has announced.The title will form part a series of video games, books, graphic novels and other experiences connected together through a world known as Deus Ex: Universe, a new saga that will expand the franchise "on a regular basis" and create "a more immersive and richer experience than ever before".

"I'm pleased to confirm that we are already into production of the starting point for Deus Ex: Universe with a new game for PC and next-generation consoles. We're very excited about it at the studio and I wanted to let you know that most of the team behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution is already working hard on this new game. It took us four years to learn how to create a unique Deus Ex experience with Human Revolution and it was important for me to keep this knowledge within the franchise."

The next-gen title will be based around the idea of "trans-humanism segregation," Anfossi says, with the first piece of concept art, pictured above, showing the game's "dark and dystopian" vision.

I'm really excited for this, especially since the last game was amazing, in my opinion at least. It's an exciting thought know there's many games in development we don't know about yet. I hope my expectations are well deserved.
