Pretend I have never played a video game before. Explain to me why it is your favorite.

Night Trap was a game for Sega CD, 3DO, and PC. You put the disc in to play, and the graphics were like you were playing inside a movie. The game was basically an interactive movie. If you trapped the half vampire creatures before they sucked the blood out of the girls you were protecting, you would get further along in the game and could see more of the movie. If you spent to much time watching instead of playing, your commander cuts your connection and the game ends because you let to many people die.

You're in a distant land full of magic and intrigue. You are apparently the chosen one - in your veins flows the last of a mystical line from the dawn of human freedom. You have the ability to see and use special "dragon calls" that cause all kinds of things like - lightening storms, blizzards, the slowing of time, fire, entry into the ghost zone, etc. Of course, there is a downside - dragons are looking for you and they have no problem murdering you. On top of that there are various things in the work - assassins are looking to make a name for themselves, the empire is looking to invade, a dark force is tying to return, magic is being high-jacked by an enemy from the past, and something involving werewolves. Oh, and every now and again godlike demons will invade you life with requests that don't bear thinking of. So yeah - ready to be a hero?

It's your tenth birthday and a whole new world awaits for you to explore it. As your journey begins you are given a choice of three distinct companions throughout your epic adventure. Once you pick your comrade, your pompous rival wants to pit his pocket monster against yours. As you continue your journey you are given various choices and can befriend even more pocket monsters by capturing them with spherical devices. There are several different types of these devices which can greatly improve your chances of catching these pocket monsters. In order to be the very best in the last you must duel several gym leaders, eight to be exact. These gym leaders all specialize in certain attributes of pocket monsters. Successfully defeating each leader will grant you a badge. However, your journey does not come to an end after defeating these eight leaders.

After eight badges are successfully collected you can move on to your last major challenge. You must fight four very difficult people, also known as the Elite Four. This will be your ultimate challenge, the test if you truly have potential. You must defeat all four in a row without the visits to a health center in between. If you are indeed victorious, you become the Champion.

However, your rival has just beat the Elite Four before you. In order to truly be the Champion you must defeat him. Your rival will put up the fight of your life, it won't be as easy as the Elite Four people. If you manage to triumph over your rival you can take his title. Doing so will make him cry like a little baby and run away. After all has passed, your victory is recorded in an computer. Your companions will be listed and confetti will be thrown.

If you haven't noticed, it's pokemon. I know the thread is for Xbox, but it's truly my favorite game.

Which game to pick... okay...latest project it is.

In a world where jewels power barriers that protect towns from monsters, there are guilds who are fighting for power. An empire that is trying to keep control of its people. There are mysterious other parties who are wanting to do (SPOILERS). You start off doing a simple task to help a low income area of the city. You meet a girl and your dog has a knife. A lot of crazy things are about to happen. Its endearing, romantic, dark, terrible, horrific, beautiful and hilarious at times.

So...play it!
