Xbox 360 Ezio & Altair?

Someone told me the other day that in Assassin's Creed 3, you eventually get to play as Ezio and Altair, but I thought Assassin's Creed 3 was going to feature an entirely new ancestor of Desmond. Does Assassin's Creed 3 tie all 3 ancestors together?

I think the game that your friend was thinking of is Assassin's Creed: Revelations. In that game, you do get to play as both Ezio and Altair, but as far as I know, you're only playing as the new character in Assassin's Creed III.

No, you don't play as Ezio or Altair in Assassin's Creed 3. First, you play as Desmond - the "present day guy", then you play as Haytham - Conner's father, and then you play as Connor - the half white/half Indian character from all the trailers.

You do not play as Ezio and Altair. You play as Connor/Haytham. Connor is a truly brilliant character. After each mission you dive deeper into new things on Connor. I think that Ezio was a very clear cut character, whereas Connor was very more in depth, and an overall better character than the first two.

Yup, no Ezio or Altair. Connor is a great character to play as, though. He has a lot of new abilities that really change the game.
