What is your favorite playlist to rock out to when you play games?

I think it can depend on the game, but I love playing with my gym class heros pandora station on in the background. My B.O.B. station on pandora is my next favorite when I'm gaming!

I am a nerd,I have EPIC music album in my spotify that I put together. It's mostly just music and depending on the game ,some epic music makes the death of the enemy feels a lot more epic. I like a lot of 'Two steps from Hell' music especially Archangel and Heart of Courage.

I usually go with Skrillex. Just because all of the beats are so fast and beastly. When I listen to skrillex I feel as i'm just beasting in any FPS game. If I had to choose 2 it would be Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites with Bangarang.

My favorite gaming music is music that is related to sports. I enjoy listening to music that has great lyrics as well. One of my favorite songs to listen to while playing the game is Right Above It by Lil Wayne and Drake.

I tend to put on my youtube favorites list and have it on shuffle mode. I listen to a lot of rock, metal and hip hop. I like fast paced music when I play video games. Anything from at the drive in, nine inch nails, kmfdm, one day as a lion to crystal castles.

Call me lame but I prefer the music that is in the game. When I am trying to digest the flavors of a game, the efforts that are put into the sounds and backing tracks are no less valuable than the scenery. I can't imagine playing Minecraft without the soft pianos and strings, nor could I picture Halo without its Gregorian chants. Listening to music is something I do separately from gaming.

I usually have Pandora playing the One Republic radio. It keeps me calm and just allows me to play peacefully. However, when I play FPS games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, or even Halo, i'll blast some songs with fast beats. Nothing pumps me up and makes me do better than those types of songs.

It depends - if I'm on a cheap section or grinding like it's my job then I put on my mp3 player, otherwise I'll just listen to the game music - whether score or radio or whatever. I have yet to create a playlist however.

Depends on the game. If I even play music I'll play depending on the genre. Most of the time though I tend to play a lot of Dubstep type stuff when I play FPS. I know its cliche, but I definitely like how it gets me pumped up. Sometimes, you have to be in the right mood to click with the game you are playing.

haha! That's awesome! Your not lame at all! I play bejeweled sometimes, which is pretty lame right there to admit, but anyway I play bejeweled sometimes and that game in particular I love their stupid music they play in the background. I couldn't play it and listen to other music. It's all calm and relaxing too, so I play it as I'm falling asleep sometimes and it puts me right to bed! Hexic has pretty good music as well.

I like to listen to podcasts or something along those lines when I'm playing a game that's requiring me to grind something. If you pick up the right JRPG, you could be working on your characters for quite a while, so might as well get some added entertainment in there. We all want those lvl 99 characters who do 9999 damage. You know you do.

Yeah, I'd prefer not hearing outside music when playing the game. It's less immersive to hear something like heavy metal while I'm playing something else.

I listen to the in game music for a single player, first time playthrough. The score for most games just adds to the atmosphere and immerses you more in the experience. However, if I'm playing online MP matches and I'm not playing with friends, I'm all about Rock 'n Roll and Heavy metal. Motorhead, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, and Anthrax are always great for killing!
