Xbox One Favorite Halo Game?

Which game from the Halo collection if your favorite? Mine is definitely Halo 3, I had a lot of fun times playing that in 2009-2010.

Halo: Reach for me. I spent about 1,000 hours in that game, and I was good enough to play professionally for a little while. Those were some sad, lonely days though! I played that game a little too much, but it was a solid Halo game with incredible multiplayer. I hit the final rank a lot sooner than I'd like to admit.

My favorite Halo game of all time has definitely got to be Halo 2 for the original Xbox. Growing up my friends and I used to play Halo 2 piratically every day for hours at a time. We never seemed to get tired of it and we still play it even till this day. To be perfectly honest I never liked any Halo game after Halo 2, except for maybe Halo 3.

I'll have to say Halo: Reach. All the best elements from the previous Halo installments were taken and refined into one awesome game. I never got good at the multiplayer part, since I only liked to play with friends here and there, but I did get some fun out of it. The campaign is where the game shined for me most.

Thеir is а grеаtеr еmphаsis оn сhаrасtеr. Yоur squаdmаtеs аrе muсh mоrе flеshеd оut (аnd nоt tо mеntiоn thеy аrе vоiсеd by sоmе оf my fаvоuritе асtоrs).

Thеrе is а sеnsе оf dаngеr thаt simply is nоt prеsеnt in thе оthеr Hаlо gаmеs. Mаstеr Сhiеf is а supеr sоldiеr whеrеаs thе ОDSTs аrе just mеn аnd wоmеn trаinеd tо bе drоppеd in frоm lоw оrbit. Yоu аrе сut оff frоm thе hеlp, аlоnе in а dаrk сity surrоundеd by thе еnеmy. Mаking fоr thе wrоng bit оf соvеr оr nоt сhесking yоur соrnеrs саn mеаn disаstеr.

Аnd thе wаy thе stоry unfоlds! Yоu wаkе аftеr yоur squаdmаtеs аnd yоu slоwly fоllоw а trаil аnd еасh timе yоu rеасh а signаl yоu switсh tо а fеw hоurs prеviоus tо tаkе thе rоlе оf оnе оf yоur squаdmаtеs.

Thаt is why, fоr mе, Hаlо 3: ОDST is thе bеst Hаlо gаmе.

Halo 1 will always have a special place in my heart. The memories of hopping out of that downed ship and looking up at the ring are still very vivid in my mind.

Halo 3 Hands Down! When Halo 4 released I pre-ordered the collectors edition and played it for the first 2 weeks and I lost interest in the game. One of the biggest aspects in Halo is the Forge Mode and Halo 4 just killed it, the biggest problem is they didn't have a clean, appropriate sandbox map and on top of that other teams in custom games were unable to talk to each other in game chat. It was a disaster.

Halo 3 had my favorite campaign and 5 had my favorite multiplayer.

Halo 3 was cool in terms of a storyline. I can't say it was well-written but was definitely close to it.

My favorite game was Halo 2. When my friend and I were younger, we could play that game for hours on end. I never got good at it by any stretch of the imagination, but I'll always have good memories of playing that game.
We also played a little bit of Halo 3, and that remains a close second for similar reasons.

@HuskyGlazier I also am fond of Halo 2...I remember realizing it was the next Halo and being so stoked, but life took my gaming time away right around then so we never properly got the bonding time I did with H1

I might be on my own here but I think the original Halo game is probably my favorite of the series. I know that the newer games are better looking and you could even say they have better game play, but I think when Halo first came out it broke new ground for console games, and especially console games on the Xbox, and it's one of the main reasons people even got an Xbox over a Playstation in the first place. There aren't many games that you can say influenced a gamer's choice of actual system, but that's exactly hat the first Halo game did.
