I watch Twitch streamers sometimes so I know that some people, for example, only fly choppers when playing a game like Battlefield. Other people stay on the ground all the time, in tanks, etc. Where do you stay?

in bf4 i use to be a good tank driver/shooter... i tried the run and gun but my aim is slow and im slow on the trigger as well so i loose allot of my battles... i would love to see an actuall emi tactical game like bf4 where holding a position or team work was almost a big part of it.. in games with 20people where i have a chance to plan stuff or can be tacktful i do 100% better to the point im awhole different player... the 40 player thing is just to much... it promotes run and gun way to much.

I usually play some type of support character (think medic). It's a rewarding role, especially when the other teammates know how to play.
Imagine that you're keeping alive a player that can assure your victory, pretty sweet!

I have never been a good driver even in games like Battlefield where driving is not take seriously. I a really bad at it.

I enjoy playing a support/healing role and I am glad that newer games such as Battlefield offer this option. I really like the gameplay style of TF2 and how all the classes meshed well in that game but for most multiplayer experiences this is never the case. Battlefield is just a fun game overall, but its nice that you can have that distinction of playing heavy arms/support/or even something like a boat or chopper pilot.

I started wondering about this recently because I have just started playing Battlefield (and online multiplayers in general) while the roomie has been playing for about five years now. He is accomplished on the ground and driving tanks and is now getting into chopper piloting, whereas I tend to stick to the ground because driving and flying are just way too overwhelming to me right now.

I don't really have a "favorite" role in online multiplayers. There are several roles that I like to play, some that I play better than others, etc., but I try to switch it up to get experience in a wide variety of areas.

I never really enjoy multiplyer games but when I'm in team I'm always the sniping guy or the sneaky one. I'm not much of use when it comes to full on heavy gunfight so I tend to just keep out of the battlefield and just lurk around like a coward.. a coward that will kill you if you don't do a double take.

For most online multiplayer games, I choose offense and try to cause the most havok possible. I'll either use tons of firepower or focus on speed and run&gun. It just depends on the game, though, and what options are available at a given moment. I'll always run and gun in CoD with a focus on silenced weapons and speed. I take a different approach in Battlefield by always carrying around heavier weapons or using tanks. It just depends.
