Okay most people are sick of this game because it's basically all over there every year but I love the concept behind the game and I think with such concepts you can make a thousand games out of it. There are rumors that Unity would be the last Assassin's Creed game I don't know how much of it is true (but judging how Ubisoft do things I think it's going to be going on and on)

But I would really want to see an Assassin's Creed game set in the East like Japan or China where you can play as a Ninja, I know Tenchu is somewhat there already but still, I would really love to play as a ninja assassin. I'm really bored with the Western and European landscape.

Let me try something completely radical, like a sci-fi or post apocalyptic setting. They could market the games as some sort of reboot/spinoff. Just imagine, piloting your space ship and killing aliens with hidden laser blades on exotic or unexplored planets, then stealing their tech or causing a rebellion :p

Yup, I'm mostly joking. Ubi needs to stop releasing so many Assassin's Creed games, at least for a while until they come up with truly innovative ideas, not just a setting change.

LOL So it's like Assassin's Creed: Templar Aliens In Space. If Ubi would release a title like that I would buy it regardless of how ****ty the game maybe.

Yeah I think it's bad for the franchise. But I think a complete scene change might affect the gameplay somehow, I mean it worked for Black Flag in a way. So I guess if they decide to release something like Assassin's Creed VI: Rising Sun and make it all ninja style they can improve the stealth aspect of the game AND POSSIBLY include a dedicated crouch button.

I'd like to see a Japanese Assassin's Creed set back in the days of the samurai, complete with geisha and time accurate architecture. I think it would be a beautiful game!

I could definitely get on board with a Japanese, Chinese, or otherwise Eastern Asian Assassin's Creed. I wouldn't want a futuristic AC, though; one of the primary appeals of the franchise for me is its historic feel. It's like taking a step back in time.

Yeah and I don't think the Animus work's that way also-oh wait I got it. The story would take place in the future, like 2100 or something and the Animus would take them back in this era so-oh wait it's Watch Dogs. But seriously though I think they need a complete scene change, I think it would be a real refreshing site to see Japanese temples and samurai ninja's

I'm sure it will be. I'm getting tired of seeing the same old buildings and characters. Also I think the game will benefit from the scene change since the mechanics will have to adapt to the scene granted that they're not too lazy and just change the textures.

I just want one set in feudal Japan with samurai and ninjas. The story of assassins suits feudal Japan and ancient China. I know the Templar stuff doesn't fit but maybe make an AC spinoff or something. I think Rogue has something going since the idea of playing a Templar is very interesting. Also get rid of the futuristic backstory and make it a complete game set in ancient times.

I think they can go anywhere. How about exploring ancient India? The time of Lord Ram or Krishna would be really amazing. It's entirely possible as they have done the same with Far Cry 4. It's set in India. The have done a brilliant job with local language as well. The Hindi is really good.

We're definitely on the same page, heavensdevil. I think feudal Japan would be an awesome backdrop for an AC title. If I'm not mistaken about my history, Christians began attempts to convert the Japanese during this time frame, so it probably wouldn't be too difficult to imagine the Knights Templar there as well.

Yeah it's pretty much the best suit for the concept. And as for the Templars, well it's not really that far off. If you've played and finished AC II there's a part in the game in Altairs chamber where famous Assasin's were named and one of them are Chinese.

Yeah that's what I like about Assassin's Creed. You can pretty much go anywhere with the concept AND YET Ubisoft sticks to the West for some reason which is unfair since the game started in the Middle East.
