Xbox One GamesCom game reveal

Hey!

Microsoft recently announced that they will be announcing another new game for the Xbox One during Gamescom. Do you think it could be another continuation of a franchise or will it be a new franchise all together?

It would be great to see some of the older franchises getting some representation on the Xbox One.

What do you think?

reboot... if it was a new title all together it would have been on the list for possible exclusive game..

I thought it was assumed the game would be an exclusive. So you're saying it isn't an exclusive?

Well if it's a reboot I wonder which franchise would be getting one..hmm..

It's Halo 5 with a release for Q4 2014.

Nah, I'm kidding. I'm not sure what this can be. I hope it is something we've never seen before. There are already a lot of big name games in the works I can't think if anything that can shadow them even if it is new. We'll see.

I think its Crackdown. They have dropped enough hints about it. A real next gen Crackdown 3 would be a great exclusive. That game was a lot of fun but they would need to add a lot to keep up with todays sandbox games.

I don't think that is going to be any of their old franchises as they haven't revealed it yet. It's either going to be disappointing or an awesome reveal. Let's see what they have in store for us.

I would agree with you on that, i think it's the most plausible option for Microsoft. It's not a new franchise, but a new entry in a series that deserves more love.

How about the Fable MMO which was rumoured a while back?

I heard they registered some domains recently, it could very well be this. Although, if it is..then I would be disappointed because I fail to see how this game could be unique.

So right now, Fable 4, Crackdown 3, or the new game, Fighter Within... one of them is rumored to be announced at Gamescom. Either way, I'm hoping for Fable or Crackdown since I don't know what Fighter Within is, but I do know it's for the Kinect.. which I wouldn't prefer that much. Anyways, I guess we'll just find out which one will actually be announced, I'm guessing it's Fighter Within though.
