Xbox One gamestop(local) handing xb1 pre order early. the run down.

so i got a call to go help a dm today they got the display system in for xb1 and needed help moving and getting it out of its package/pallet.. they dont really have tools or ways of moving big displays at my local store.

so i asked how pre order will work on thursday and hear is he run down.. it may differ by store but i like how its setup non the less.

they cant take money on the system till 6pm. (assume because after 6pm transaction show up as next day)
once you pay you get a stamp and a number. this number is your place in line for 11:45

you can leave and the number holds your place.

what they did not tell me was if you pay for the games at the same time if they give you the games and you just pick up the system later. altho with the setup they are running they may pre package your bags with the games/system/accessories and have them lined up in order.

and no i was not allowed display pics of the system/setup. i proably could have but they didn't want to get in trouble with higher ups if a pic got leaked and was not allowed.. it had to go in back till thursday iirc.

They are really tight with the release date of these things, which is really weird because i already seen people with one, so i guess that it really ends up depending on the store and your connections. I just hope that the hardware doesn't come as faulty as PS4.

I asked about games, being able to get them early since they're already paid for but they said games will only be released launch day.

you could pick up ac4 today... i didnt because its pointless plus id rather have 1 full receipt than multi to file away.
my gamestop has ac4, ghost,crew and 1 other game iirc behind the counter ready to hand out.
