I have some free time until next week, so Im going to rent a couple games. The only problem is I don't know what to rent. I don't care for racing games or horror, here is the current lists of games I've owned or played.

All of the Halo franchise, all Cod, Defiance, Skyrim, the Borderlands Series and a couple of other ones I've forgotten.

A couple of my friends have recommended fallout 3/New Vegas but I don't know which one of them to get.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I recommend Fallout 3, it's a great game and both graphics, game-play and storyline are all really good, so it's a good game all-round. If you are a fan of Metal Gear Solid, I recommend Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It's another excellent game.

If you are a survival-horror fan, check out Resident Evil: Revelations. It is a remake of the Nintendo 3DS game. It features Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. The graphics are an improvement over the original game. It's not better than Resident Evil 6 but it's a worthy game for the franchise. If you have finished RE 6 and still could not get enough of zombies and monsters, grab Revelations.

If you have a friend to play with, I would recommend Battleblock Theater. The graphics of the game is cartoonish, but very good. It's a platformer, and the main objective is to get gems for different faces you can choose, and yarn balls which you can use to buy weapons. There is a storyline to this as well, pretty unique to be implemented into a platformer. The narrator is pretty funny, and gameplay wise, very fun. There is a lot of variety included in this game which I really like. The levels are different, and there are secret levels you have to find yourself.

I highly recommend the Mass Effect Series if you haven't already played them. I strongly prefer Mass Effect 2 to the first one, and I really enjoy ME3's online mutliplayer. The first one isn't bad, though, and you can pretty much pick up details about the series if you start with 2; but that's up to you. If you're going to play the Fallout games, you should definitely start with Fallout 3. I really enjoy New Vegas, but playing Fallout 3 second is kind of like playing Oblivion after playing Skyrim. Both games are excellent, but New Vegas is sort of like a Fallout 3-2, so to speak. I also highly recommend the Assassin's Creed franchise, even if you don't like stealth-type games. I'm not a fan of stealth, myself, but the Assassin's Creed franchise utilizes it extremely well (especially after the first game).

Fallout 3 - give it time though. The first 2 hours of gameplay are a bit restrictive but after that you're good to go.

Also, if you've played Skyrim, why not give Oblivion a go? Sure the graphics are not up to Skyrim's standard but it is still a game I lost weeks to
