Hey, A friend of mine got a Xbox 360 and we want to play some good co-op games on Xbox live. We used to play the Ghost Recon series on the original Xbox split screen style. Can anyone recommend something with Co-Op campaigns? We have tried Black Ops but we are looking for something more against the Computer.

Left 4 Dead springs to mind as there are some good times to be had there. The Gears of War games aren't bad with friends. Borderlands is another.

Hopefully the community here will be more helpful then I am as they are the only ones I can think of right now.

I agree. Borderlands and the Gears of War series (especially GoW 2) are probably the best co-op experiences for the 360 when it comes to shooters.
For other experiences, I'd suggest any WWE title (or Smackdown vs RAW, as it was previously titles) and pretty much any sports title (FIFA 13 is a blast to play with your pals).

I agree with Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, and Borderlands. Halo 4 offers fun cooperative gametypes, but not so much lasting appeal. If it's one area that Dead Island got right, it's cooperative play. Rainbow Six Vegas and Army of Two aren't really my cup of tea, but they have exceptional cooperative play.

Great suggestions. Now that I have some free time I'm gonna purchase this games and I'll give you my review after that.

As others have said, Borderlands is a great co-op game. I also personally enjoyed Army of TWO a lot. It's fun in co-op since one of the players can attract all the attention while the other snipes enemies with a supressed sniper rifle and things like that. The weapon customization in Army of TWO is also amazing, so yeah. Oh yeah, there's a new Army of TWO out, released recently, called The Devil's Cartel. I don't know how good that one is, though, but Army of TWO and Army of TWO: The 40th Day are great.

I really think Borderlands and Army of TWO have been the best co-op experiences I've had on the 360.
