Can you say "Holy big world for a GTA game!" This leaked image from GTA 5 shows what looks to be a potentially enormous in-game world. No worries, the game will be out in less than a week in the US, so you'll be able to discover the truth soon enough! I absolutely love the fact that they're finally making the world larger.

If there's one thing gamers know for certain already, it's that "Grand Theft Auto 5," available on Sept. 17, is going to be a big game. Like, really big. "Skyrim" meets "World of Warcraft" except with bikinis and guns instead of swords and dragons big. "GTA" developer Rockstar Games even boasted to Game Informer that the new game is bigger than three of its previous open-world titles — "Grand Theft Auto 4," "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," and "Red Dead Redemption" — combined.

If there was any reason to doubt Rockstar's claims about its size, a "GTA 5" leak this week put any concerns to rest. Following an alleged early sale of the "Grand Theft Auto 5" strategy guide, a user of the popular gaming forum NeoGAF posted an image of the map of Los Santos, the fictional Los Angeles-inspired city in which the new "GTA" game is set. After that found its way onto a subreddit dedicated to all things "Grand Theft Auto 5," the Internet devoured the spoiler-filled material.

I need this game like I need an XB1! This game will be what allows me to survive the hump til Nov. 22nd since I'm not buying any other games till then. The next 6 days will be excruciating.

It is a pretty big map they have made.
I really like that it isn't all about cities this time however it is also countryside. And also underwater.
I really think this could be one of the best games Rockstar has made. At least I hope so.

I saw some pics out there comparing it to the GTA IV map, and if they're legit then we are in for a treat!

Even the city area itself is bigger than the whole map of GTA IV it seems. Just imagine then how big the real complete map is! Rockstar wasn't lying or exaggerating when they mentioned the map size of GTA V! I can't even believe they packed this much content into a current gen game.

Well, I for one can't believe that t's coming within 6 days. I mean, they haven't showed much yet. These 6 days are s near, yet so far away.

I saw a Machinima vid and they put RDR..and the other GTA maps in this map...They all fit in the southern city so this map is huge to say the least.

LOL. I'll start walking from the south. On October 1st, when the MP hits, we'll meet in the middle and tell each other what's on the other end.

Man,that map looks huge! I wonder if one could even drive from point to point and not once break any laws. Stop at all the lights and stop signs, use your turn signals, don't hit anyone or anything, etc. I know I couldn't. I'll be technically "drunk" driving on release day lol.
