Xbox One Grand Theft Auto V now 33% of on the XBL Marketplace

GTAV has been discounted to $40.19 on the Xbox Live Marketplace, which is one-third off of the original price. Not too bad, considering the game came out in October. Obviously the discount makes sense, as Microsoft is trying to continue to drive digital sales for the 360, now that the Xbox One has launched. It's a crazy popular series and this installment is supposed to be the best yet. No word yet on whether this is a permanent price change or a limited time discount, so my advice would be to buy it now if you've been thinking about it. The download is almost 8GB, so make sure that you have plenty of room to download it if you do purchase it. It's the biggest map that that the series has had since it came out.

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most successful releases of the year. The game developed by Rockstar games has managed to do incredibly well on all markets. GTA V has sold very nicely even in Japan, a country where very few Western developed games manage to become successful. This fact alone speaks volumes about the game’s quality.

I hope anybody reading this realizes it's NOT YET on Xbox One. I repeat: this is not YET confirmed for the Xbox One so don't go jumping for joy yet. It's the same thing when KN1GHTMARE posted the free Episode 1 of The Wolf Among Us. It's in the Xbox Live Marketplace all right but NOT in the Xbox One's.
 
Yes, for anyone excited: GTA V is still on Xbox 360 and PS3, not on the PS4 or Xbox One. Just want to make it clear for you guys in case you have to ask if you can't find on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
 
Still who knows? GTA V may come to the next-gen consoles. Anyway, looks like this sales is already done. But yeah, GTA V is a great game. I still wonder how they'll port this one to the next-gen. Still a lot of things to work on before they can really make it stable.

I never said it was on Xbox One lol. These are all 360 games, there are no XB1 versions. This is "General Xbox News" not the XB1 section. Besides there are no announced plans to bring GTA to the XB1. Rockstar actually officially confirmed they would not waste resources on a port and it would not make it to next gen.
 
Since the game isn't on Xbox One yet, it's something that I still have to enjoy on my 360. Well it's been weeks since I've turned that thing on. I may have to look that up on it. Never had the chance to play GTA 5 on my 360.
 
That still a great game though. even though they haven't transferred it over to Xbox One it's still nice that they have it available on Xbox 360. I wonder when a new GTA will come out for Xbox One and PS4.
 
I don't see it coming for some time (mainly because by now a lot of people have just played it on 360 and PS3 and have it on X1 and PS4 would be more for "just because"), but I do see it running on that Rockstar schedule of popping up later.
 
I hope they can come up with GTA 6. Well it's high time we get something new right?
 
Yeah, I know. Well that's something to watch out for. We might see something like it in maybe 2 or 3 years?
 
I don't think they can make one sooner than that. GTA 5 is still on, it's still hot and it's quite a trend too.
 
That might be a better option. Red Dead. I've seen some details about it but I'm not quite sure how their next game will look like.
 
Could be a new title entirely, but I'm thinking that it will be Red Dead unless they plan on dropping a Noire game.
