So, what do you think about it?

I haven't gotten my hands on it yet, but plan to this weekend somtime.

Was it as large as you were expecting? What are some improvements that you like?

The map was even bigger than what I envisioned. Everything feels like an improvement.

I have already beaten the main story and most of the strangers and freaks missions. Honestly, the game is fantastic. It's not like the boring piece of crap that GTAIV turned out to be but instead returns the series to its more ridiculous roots and is much more fun because of this. It's pretty realistic, but this the vehicle handling didn't have to suffer from "realism" and the story isn't boring and full of uninteresting characters like GTAIV. I HATE GTAIV. I love GTAV.

One of the best parts is Trevor. Trevor as a character. He's just the best. You'll see. His special ability is also great. All the characters in the game are great in their own way, except for the ones Rockstar wants you to hate of course, but they do serve their purpose so they're good.

But mostly, I'm glad they made cars fun to drive unlike in GTAIV. They can go pretty dang fast and the handling is very good and driving cars with Franklin is just extremely fun because of his special ability. The shooting mechanics are good (especially with Michael and Trevor, due to their abilities) and the stealth mechanics make things more interesting during missions and when getting away from police. Now you actually have to lay low for a bit.

It's pretty dang good.

Really really amazing game and honestly there isnt much more to say about it. The only flaw ive had with it is your characters changing their clothes on their own sometimes and killing people isnt as satisfying as it was in the previous Rockstar games. Dont get me wrong im not a sadist or anything lol but thats what a lot of people like to see is cool death ragdolls, maybe some blood squirts, twitches, etc. Sounds messed up but you know you like it! Either way, GTA V was missing that and it made me not even want to bother getting into combat a lot of the time.

Even when there is nothing to do, there is so much you can do. Today in about two hours of game play on a friend's save I got a lapdance, watched a short movie, tried to hijack an airplane, played tennis, slayed a group of Baller gang members, and got gunned down by police choppers about 20 times. I also completed two small missions that didn't really advance the story, and did a lot of off-roading. It was simply fantastic. The humor in the game is top-notch. The map is astounding. I can't say enough good things about it.

For me i think it was one step forward and two steps back. It got a lot of great things, but there is a lot i was expecting from it that existed in San Andreas, so i hope that they will release DLC that will fix a lot of this, at least the small details that there were missing.

One of the first things I did when I started playing was go to the strip club and blow most of my money. Art DOES imitate life lol

But this game, in my opinion, is the best of the series by FAR. The size of the map, the character switching, the activities, the dialog (even overheard conversations) is hilarious at times, and if you want, you can play with a dog. I have yet to master the fine art of flying, but I'll get there!

This game is absolutely amazing, if you're wearing close to the same clothes as somebody on the street, and run past them after commiting a crime. Police will react as if they are the perp. I love being able to just go about my day, and tail a armored car and figure out how to engage them myself. Looking forward to the online on Tues, hope heists are great with groups.

I just played 5 hours of this game... Time for me to get my ass up and get to the gym now. lol I am in awe though on how graphically beautiful this game looks. it only makes me more excited to see what the Xbox One is going to offer in graphical terms. The anticipation is overwhelming.

I keep trying to tell myself this isn't the best game ever, because objectively I know it isn't but I just love it so much. I mean I really did enjoy GTA IV because of the gravis and the soundtrack and how Liberty City was an actual city - but I missed being able to enjoy vehicles. I also missed being able to just explore without a sort of constant claustrophobia. Probably most importantly there was a certain spark that GTA V has brought back - also I really like driving again... also shooting while driving... also punking cops for the lolz. That said I am almost disappointed in myself for not having blown all my money on lap dances... almost.

I honestly feel this game will control people's lives as there is so much to do... Some people may even start to believe their life is their GTA Online persona and neglect reality... Even so, it is an awesome game and it's colour, vibrance, size and detail make it one of the best games ever. It is a massive step forward into what is needed in upcoming RPG games and the re playability factor is huge!

Still waiting for the game to be confirmed on PC and release next year. Though Rockstar has already shown signs that it will definitely come out next year, I just can't wait for the day it happens. It's going to be sweet playing this game maxed out on my PC with mods and stuff, playing online with my friends . I've tried it out on the Xbox 360 at my friend's house just last week and I can vouch that this game is quite interesting and serves as an example of major improvement over the last rendition of GTA.
