First off I will say that I own many Madden games and I love them all. This is not anything like a Madden game. I do love the game though as do my kids. The players are "cartoon-like" yet they still teach a bit about football. It's funny to watch my young son and daughter get excited when they play. I love that there are not as many players on the field, like there are in the Madden games. I think with fewer players the kids can really start to understand what they are trying to do. Do you have this game?

I don't have this game, but thank you for your informative review! It sounds like this would be much easier for younger kids to understand and play; like a good stepping stone to the Madden games.

It is not on my "must have" list. It is funny I read this review and my kids found it online and said they wanted it (same day). I love how it sounds easier for the kids to learn. My son is starting flag football this year. It will be fun to watch him play this game too.

I saw a demo for this and that's exactly the impression it made..

Very much (at every turn) a kid's game, with graphics that look like they were dialed back in detail just a bit too much.. The music and sounds seemed 'overly polished' but I'd wonder how long that lasts until you're ready to throw something at the speakers? :)

As a non-football fan I actually found some of the football lingo a bit 'deep' and confusing, but I'm sure it'd start making sense in short order.

It's not only just great for kids, hell I'm 19 and i still love this game! It was such staple in my childhood - playing it for hours on the PC. I love that they put it on the 360. This game is classic and will forever remain in my game library.
