A friend of mine came down Friday night and brought his Xbox One, a 32" TV, and all of his One games. We rearranged the living room, hooked his TV and One up, and spent the majority of the weekend playing Battlefield 4, Ryse, and Forza. Anyone else like to hookup a couple of TVs in the same room to do something like this?

I use to. For about a year I had a 65" HDTV and a 55" HDTV and on the weekends we'd hook them both up in the same room. I also had 3 xbox 360's, so we'd get them all online and have tons of fun playing 4 player COD zombies and other games.

I was just thinking about this last night actually, how much fun it'd be to play DR3 with a friend in the same room.

I used have LAN parties all the time with the original Halo and with Socom 1 & 2 on PS2. I kind of miss it sometimes. Maybe I'll have my cousin over when Destiny and Titanfall come out.

Used to have xbox original lan parties all the time back in the day, mostly playing Halo. 4 of us would bring our own xbox and tvs and system link them all... was heaps of fun playing Halo into the early hours of the morning.

How was it on the One ? Were you doing it system link or playing over XBL ?

Well on Xbox One I rarely have LAN parties, well thing is I want to concentrate on my games so I get used to it. Having been a hardcore MMORPG gamer on pc does take quite some time for me to get familiar with the new games on Xbox One. Either way, I am glad I bought this and I am glad I had these games.

The past week I haven't been on Xbox one. Rather playing online games using my computer and working as well. (Well I had some online jobs to work on even on holidays). Anything new going on with Dead Rising or Battlefield?

I used to do that back in the day. TVs were the one thing I would've changed about gaming back then, because that was at a time when larger TVs cost more than they do now and they weren't all that flat--there was still some heft in the back. So it was a bit of a hassle moving a friend's TV into the house, rearranging stuff, moving it back out, etc.

...actually it was a huge hassle, but it was fun.

We used to do that too during the PS1 days but not anymore. Every since online multiplayer picked up, my friends never bothered to do it again stating that it's more convenient to just play on LIve and chat via a headset. :( Sure it's a lot more convenient but it's not the same feeling.
