Xbox 360 Halo 3 Vs. Halo Reach

Which one do you prefer? I think Reach gets too much hate but I liked 3 a lot more overall. I think the online experience was a lot better, even though I liked most of the additions they added in Reach. Hopefully 4 topples over both though, it looks that way!

I still wish that they'd remake 2 or something. I heard they were planning on doing it like they did with the original but it ended up getting canned or was a rumor or something like that? I forget, but 2 just had amazing maps and never got stale, I miss it

I prefer Halo Reach over Halo 3. Reach had better visuals, better sound, better gameplay, better story, better everything. It was such an improvement over the previous Halo games. Halo 3 was magnificent and extremely epic. It was my favorite FPS shooter... until Halo Reach arrived.

If it wasnt for 343 Halo reach would still be as bad as it was when It started... Idk what Bungie was thinking when they made it. They basically made a completely different game with the Halo name and I did not like that at all. I played halo 3 religiously Lol and when reach came I just gave up beause of how the gameplay style was.

I almost think Reach was a beta test for whatever they do next... Halo 3 for me. I think it still stands as the best. Halo 2 was great, better maps than 3. Reach with its limited jump and armor lock was just hard to play. I think it got a little better with the anniversary maps and the title update but overall just a mess. DLC was done terribly and too many Forge maps in the main playlists was a major eye sore for me. Halo 3 is the last Halo without any Call Of Duty influence and just played "right".
