Below you will find Halo Wars cheats. Cheats typically create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier.
Halo Wars Unlockables/Cheats
Multiplayer ranks
Score the required number of points to earn the corresponding rank:
Recruit: Play one game online
Lieutenant: 80,000 points
Captain: 200,000 points
Major: 400,000 points
Commander: 800,000 points
Colonel: 1,600,000 points
Brigadier: 2,400,000 points
General: 3,200,000 points
Bonus Gamerpics
Successfully finish the tasks indicated to unlock the corresponding Gamerpics:
Professor Anders: Successfully finish Campaign mode.
Sergeant Forge: Start Halo Wars.
Get two protectors on one vehicle
Get a Spartan and a vehicle, and put a protector on each. Let the Spartan take control of the vehicle. You now have two protectors for your Spartan/vehicle. Note: A good place for this is the "Labyrinth".
Saving units
This works especially well with the Covenant Base (Prophet of Regret). When you make the Prophet or a Special Elite unit, put them to stand on the exact spot where they spawned from in the base. Next, select the base, and choose "Lock". The Claws will interlock with each other, and your character will be trapped in there. He will be safe from enemy fire, but if an enemy comes close, he will step out and fire. If that happens, just put him back in there. Note: You will have to ensure enemies don’t get so that he does not go out. It still saves money and time.
Easy "The Real Winner" achievement
In Mission 4, search a tower with the Black Box at the bottom, just north of the starting point. There is a child called Adam trapped down there behind a door. Highlight the door, and press A to open it. Escort Adam to the transport as you kill enemies on the way; be careful, as he can be killed with one hit.
