There have been so many games in this series. I haven't played them all, but the one I have play lose their appeal very quickly. I just wondered how many people are still on the 'bandwagon'. If they bring out another game in this series, will you buy in?

I always promise myself that I won't buy the new CODs but I always end up buying them because of there high popularity but I usually just finish the campaign and play a little multiplayer until it gets boring. I find COD very straight forward and not creative at all. I guess the story is good but its a play once type of campaign and the multiplayer mode lacks in creativity. Not a game I would recommend to a casual/experienced gamer. (OPINION)

I used to buy CoD for the campaign WW missions because I'm a history buff and love playing military games. But now, I only buy CoD for the multiplayer. I don't really like the new storylines they created. They should create a new storyline about Afghanistan or Iraq, those are modern wars and they could get information easily, people would relate. Or maybe the Vietnam war, Desert Storm and so many other wars. Who knows what these guys are thinking....

The whole COD hype has gone on far too long, now the only people that seem to play are kiddies. There was a time where I did like cod, but after modern warfare 2 it just went so down hill, now I can't stand to even play it for a minute. When I think back to when I did used to play I don't understand how I spent so much time on it! My played time was like 13 days. When I think about that I shudder because I just don't understand in the slightest how I managed it!

It's not that it ran it's course. Is just that they are more interested in releasing that thing sooner and sooner, and never make anything better. If they could just listen for a while and fix the problems that the game has, maybe it would be better.

Call of Duty ran its course after the first Black Ops. I mean after that we've just been recycling game names and not adding anything worthwhile, it's just a different game with the exact mechanics as the previous.

I think it should retire, put those people out of a job and get the gaming market a bit more back on track personally.
