So I gotta ask, since I saw in another post that someone couldn't have the 360 vertical because his dog pees on all things vertical. Has your dog ever ruined anything you own for your 360?

Both of my dogs have eaten a game or two. I was not happy either time it happened! Both of my dogs did it right around 9 months old too! Needless to say they were punished the day it happened!

I don't think I know anyone who allows their dog to mess up their things. I can relate though, because I have a young niece. I am not trying to call her a dog or anything I am just comparing what she does, to that of an animal! My niece messes with everything and it does not matter whose it is. I have had plenty of my belongings broken my niece. She is not as bad as a dog, because she has some common sense. Although I feel the pain of knowing someone or something that messes with your belongings.

My dog is trained and if he has done that he going to go outside and maybe even the pound but I trained my dogs well so they wouldn't do that.

My dog ripped up my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare case and disc. I got so mad since it was the only game I played at that point in time. I wanted give away my dog so bad after that moment.

Harsh man, my dog bit my power cable back in 2010. i was so angry i sent his ass to the pound. He was doing other bad stuff as well anyway.

Damn right he did. My old corgi logged in with my account while i was out and started playing Black Ops 2 online with cheats activated, managing to banning my account and losing all of my digital games in the process. He now sleeps in the garden.

I try to keep everything high up and away from the floor because of this. My cousin's puppy would chew on her wires and sometimes bite on her headsets. I have gone through some headsets as well because of this. I just put it up higher and save the money.

You guys have some vicious dogs! My dog has never touched anything on our gaming system. You could drop a disc and she wouldn't even care. My headset fell down on floor and stayed there?no big deal. The worst thing she ever got to do was to get on my husband's liquid pen that he dropped and she picked up. all around her mouth, the fur just turns blue from the ink. It was annoying. That being said,I have a friend whose dog decided to pee on his xbox and my brother was so pissed when our dog at home decided to poo on top of his controller rofl.

My dog is the one that pisses on everything. I've spanked and spanked and he just won't stop. But the fiance doesn't want to neuter him so whatever.

My dogs have gotten bored and chewed probably 5 of the cheap MS headsets, and two or three Play and Charge cables. They were really young though. They still tear up the MS headsets, but since I've gotten a Turtle Beach headset they've stopped. They loved to chew off the foam around the earpiece and mic from it. No clue why.

No. I don't have a dog but I have 2 cats. They don't mess anything up or eat any of my games, but sometimes my cat likes to stand on my console while I game. I'm not sure if that only messes the xbox up because the air can't get through. I think mainly my cats like it because it's like a warm air conditioner.

Nope, but that's because they're hunting dogs who have been trained to behave. Also I try to keep them engage, because a lot of bad behavior comes from being bored. So they have toys, they get lots of walks, we'll hike or bike during the week, and of course they have little play dates with some of my friend's dogs. So yeah - never had this sort of issue.

Wow... I have so many comments after reading all these responses! For starters, if your dog is using your house as a bathroom all the time, especially pooing on controllers this is your fault and you shouldn't be allowed to own a dog! Take some time out of your day to work with and train your dog properly! I have three dogs all potty trained right away! Got two as puppies and one as an adult. Potty training is the one nonnegotiable training thing with every dog. My dogs aren't perfect but they ate things as puppies and now don't. Like the post above this ones says dogs need to be kept occupied. My house is filled with dog toys and they gets walks and play fetch and have a nice yard to run around in as well. Some of you that commented here really don't deserve to own a dog! Some of these comments are insane!

To the person who keeps everything up high where dogs can't get it go thinking! I do that with a lot of stuff, it's almost like baby proofing your house only for your dogs!

I'm going to stop now though before I say something really mean, cause for real some of you don't deserve your dogs after these comments!

It's less they don't deserve a dog, and more that people sometimes forget that dogs are living creatures with needs and the ability to learn. Why else do you think Cesar got so big? People get puppies the way they get dolls and expect them to behave the same way, but people also fall in love with dogs and don't want to face the fact they may not be able to handle them. They don't have an Alpha mentality or the time or the energy or the mindset or the actual space/income/whatever else to deal with a dog - but they love it so they just try and muddle through. Still you can make anything work if you just admit there is a problem, rather than threatening to send it to the pound to die or whatever.

You said that very nicely! And I completely agree! Very sad though, I take care of my dogs just as I do my kids. With everything they need and loads of love and play as well. It kills me when people don't think about the responsibility that comes with any pet. Getting a pet is a lifetime commitment, at least for their lifetime. Oh man just some people!

I've lucked out mostly. My dog doesn't really ruin very much however, she has a thing for those soft pads that sit on the end of microphones. More than once she has taken one and eaten it in a fit of pure puppy playful excitement. Sometimes I may use a mic that had been attacked by my dog and it will be difficult for those who are listening on the other end to me without a soft barrier to stop my booming voice from destroying their ear.

LOL, now that you mention it, my dog completely trashed my first controller. I had it sitting in my bed and while I was taking a shower he must have jumped up there and just went to town on it. The analog sticks were chewed beyond repair. RIP old friend.

My brother went out and bought a kinect right near the launch date. I went to his house to try it soon after and found out his dog had chewed the cord, rendering it useless.

Also, my fiancé had a puppy when we were still dating, he chewed through her laptop charger cable. Thats why i would prefer not to have pets

That's just part of the wonderful world of pet ownership. Finding ways to either keep your stuff safe or keep it out of their mouth. My dog is awesome about leaving stuff alone. Between the toys and everything else she's pretty good. I have to keep paper products away from her grip. I think she does that just because she gets mad when I leave her at home at some random point.

Believe it or not, I have a dog that has ruined quite a few things but has somehow managed to leave the Xbox alone. I have yet to figure it out since he pees on just about everything vertical or not. I guess even he knows how awesome the Xbox is, or that I would kill him if he ever tried it. He does carry off and hide the game boxes, though..Doesn't tear them up, but likes to hide them. Weird, huh.
