Xbox One Headset Fix for XB1???

So my friend was doing some heavy thinking about not being able to use his Astros(I have TB). He suggested hooking up the XB1 as normal. Then run your 360 through your XB1............. Now use your USB portion of your headset into the XB1.............create a party chat on 360 and plug in the voice chat cable into 360 controller. Did I lose anyone??? So you would have game sound through XB1 and use party chat on the 360 using TB's or what ever headset you have. Any flaws or ideas??? I have not had a chance to see the console up close or even a controller. So do you have any input or ideas??? Would it work??

Yea i dont really think that would work. I understand you can run the 360 through the xbox, but i feel like you wouldnt be able to have the sound stream of both simultaneously

That's pointless though because you would only be using them for voice and not the game's sound. For that just use the wired headset included.

When you connect the headsets usb to xb1 that would give you game sound.

Hmm I have a pair of turtle beaches and the sound comes in via the optical, not usb.
