Xbox 360 Hitman: Absolution as cool as it looks?

I have never gotten into the Hitman series but it has peaked my interest. I am thinking about putting it on my Christmas list. Is the game as cool as it looks in the trailers?

It is if you have patience and think things through. If not, don't waste your money, pop Black Ops 2 back in, and have fun with that. Seriously though, it's great but you really DO need to think things through and take your time.

Don't let the lineage fool you. This game isn't as good as advertised. It's not totally bad. But they tried way too hard to make it more adult. Which by the way, it always was in the first place. But now it feels like they stuffed a bunch of NC-17 and borderline X parts into the game just to make it feel adult and skimped on a lot of gameplay.
