Welcome to the Hitman HD Trilogy Achievement guide, where I will guide in achieving a 100% completion on this title. There are actually three games on the disk from the Hitman series: Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money. Some of you might remember that there was is another game in the series, the first one – Codename 47. Don’t worry! Contracts is practically a remake of the first game so if this is your first contact with this amazing series, Hitman HD Trilogy is the perfect title for you. Let’s see the actual achievements.
Hitman HD Trilogy is quite interesting when it comes to achievements, because you can actually earn 2000G from this title. As some may remember, the fourth game of the series, Blood Money is already available for the Xbox 360. For this game, there are no new achievements, but you can still earn the original 1000G, while the remaining 1000G can be achieved by playing through Silent Assassin and Contracts. There are no missable achievements because all the missions are replayable. Getting all of the 2000G achievements will take around 60 hours depending on your skill.
Step 1: Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
If this is your first time playing these games, you might as well start with the first one. All the difficulty achievements are stackable (some people might experience glitches; read achievement description for details) so if you are prepared you should start directly on the Professional difficulty, but I warn you: there is going to be a lot of trial and error. After you finished the game on the highest difficulty, if you haven’t achieved 5 Silent Professional ratings, go back and redo any mission(s) you find the easiest (you can replay the same mission 5 times and it will unlock).
Step 2: Hitman: Contracts
After you completed the first game, proceed with playing Contracts. The achievements for this game are oddly similar to Silent Assassin, so if you completed the first one, just repeat what you did with the first game.
Step 3: Hitman: Blood Money
After you completed the first two games, you should start Blood Money. If you have already completed the original 1000G in the original game in 2006, there will be no new achievements for you as you cannot earn the same achievement for Blood Money twice. Hitman: Blood Money Achievement Guide can be found here.

5 Professional Silent Assassins (45G)
Silent Assassin: 5 Silent Assassin ratings awarded on Professional difficulty
At the end of each mission you receive a rating based on a number of factors and Silent Assassin is the highest one possible and it’s achieved by being the perfect hitman. There are a few things to consider when trying to achieve this rating. First of all, the most important thing is that you can only kill your target and no one else. You also have to be very stealthy; your disguise cannot be blown and you cannot be caught in a restricted area. Killing police or civilians is the fastest way to lose the SA rating, as is killing guards or any other type of enemies. In a nutshell, avoid people as much as possible. The final thing is that you also have to kill your target stealthily (after all that sneaking around you are not going to obliterate him with a sawed-off shotgun, right?). Shooting is not allowed either, even if you are using a silencer. Sometimes, the game will present you the opportunity of staging accidents and if possible, this is always the best route to achieving a Silent Assassin rating. At the end of the mission you will be able to see your performance and for a SA rating, you cannot have more than ‘1 alert’ or a ‘no target killed’.
Fortunately, these achievements are stackable so completing five missions with a SA rating on Professional will also unlock the ones for Expert and Normal.
The easiest way to do this is to find an easy mission that you are comfortable with and replaying it 5 times (getting a SA rating each time!) as this will still count towards the achievement.
Normal mode complete (10G)
Silent Assassin: Completed Normal difficulty
This achievement is story related so it cannot be missed.
Complete the game on Normal difficulty and the achievement is yours.
See ‘Professional mode complete’ for more details regarding the glitch with the stackable difficulties.
Expert mode complete (15G)
Silent Assassin: Completed Expert difficulty
This achievement is story related so it cannot be missed.
Complete the game on Expert difficulty and the achievement is yours.
See ‘Professional mode complete’ for more details regarding the glitch with the stackable difficulties.
Professional mode complete (45G)
Silent Assassin: Completed Professional difficulty
This achievement is story related so it cannot be missed.
Complete the game on Professional difficulty and the achievement is yours. The game can be quite difficult so you will probably restart your missions a few times. If you are having difficulties you can follow the guides in the video below.
The difficulty achievements might be glitched, but there is a workaround for this. If you are only on your first playthrough of the game and you are playing on Professional at the end of the last mission, you should receive all the game completion achievements. However, if this doesn’t happen, after you finish the last mission and your game autosaves and returns to the main menu, load that save and a list of all the missions should appear. Replay the final mission and complete it to gain the achievement for ‘Expert’ difficulty. If you do that one more time, the achievement for ‘Normal’ should unlock.
All firearms collected (45G)
Silent Assassin: All firearms collected and displayed in the Hideout
For this achievement, you have to collect all the firearms available in the game and for them to be on display in your Hideout. This achievement only refers to firearms, such as guns and explosives. There is a separate achievement for melee weapons. For the weapons to be displayed in the Hideout, you have to pick them up and finish the missions with them in your inventory. Below you will find a list of all the weapons in the game and where they can be found throughout the game.
*SMGs*
Heckler & Koch MP5
The H&K MP5 can be found during the mission ‘Tracking Hayamoto’ as you will see the majority of the guards carrying the weapon throughout the mission.
SMG-SD6
The SMG-SD6 can be found in four distinct missions – ‘Hidden Valley’ / ‘At The Gates’ / ‘Shogun Showdown’ / ‘Temple City Ambush’. In ‘Shogun Showdown’ the weapon can be found in the guard room, while also being carried by ninjas. The assassin carries this weapon as well in ‘Temple City Ambush’.
Uzi
The Uzi only appears in one mission and that is ‘Terminal Hospitality’. Some guards near the dock area can be seen carrying it. If you miss those, there is one in a hut plus some ammunition.
*Hand guns*
Silverballers
The legendary trademark pistols are your first weapons and they will be in your inventory and on display from the beginning. Note: if you achieve a silent rating on any mission, you will be awarded the silenced version of those.
Desert Eagle
The Desert Eagle appears in four different missions – ‘Anathema’ (in the study) / ‘Tunnel Rat’ (Yussef Hussein, a target, carries one) / ‘Temple City Ambush’ (Agent Smith has one) and during ‘St. Petersburg Stakeout’, FSB agents are carrying it.
Beretta 9mm Pistol
The most popular weapon in the game can be found in 10 different levels: ‘Anathema’ / ‘St. Petersburg Stakeout’ / ‘Kirov Park Meeting’ / ‘Invitation To A Party’ / ‘Tracking Hayamoto’ / ‘Basement Killing’ / The Graveyard Shift’ / ‘The Jacuzzi Job’ / ‘The Death of Hannelore’ / ‘Redemption at Gontranno’. Almost all the bodyguards, security guys and embassy guards carry them so simply kill any of them and take their weapon.
.22 Supressed
The .22 Supressed only appears during the mission ‘Shogun Showdown’, inside the museum so make sure you get it.
Snub Nosed Revolver (Revolver)
Known simply as revolver, the Snub Nose Revolver is available during three missions. In ‘Anathema’, Giuseppe Giuliani is carrying one; in ‘The Jacuzzi Job’, Charlie Sidjan has a female bodyguard which carries the weapons and in ‘Murder’, Mohammad Amin Is carrying one at the Bazaar.
.54 Pistol
The .54 Pistol can be found in two missions, but in only 1 location in each of them. In ‘St. Petersburg Stakeout’, a soldier at one of the roadblocks is carrying it and during ‘Invitation To a Party’ , it is found near the spetsnaz agent.
*Heavy weapons*
M60 Light Machine Gun
The M60 can only be found during one mission – ‘Tunnel Rat’. It is carried by most of the soldiers and it’s also available in the rest area.
*Assault Rifles*
M4
This one is a bit tricky. You can get it from UN soldiers in ‘The Motorcade Interception’ by strangling them with the fiber wire, prompting him to drop it. You can also get this weapon by finishing five missions in a row with a SA rating.
AK-74
The AK-74 is usually carried by police men and is found this way in 8 different missions: ‘St. Petersburg Stakeout’ / ‘Kirov Park Meeting’ / ‘Tubeway Torpedo’ / ‘Murder at the Bazaar’ / ‘The Motorcade Interception’ / ‘Tunnel Rat’ / ‘Terminal Hospitability’ / ‘St. Petersburg Revisitde’. In ‘The Death of Hannelore’ it can also be found inside the storage room.
*Shotguns*
SP12
The SP12 Shotgun can be found in three missions. At the first agency pickup in ‘Temple City Ambush’ there is one. Some of the guards carry it during ‘St. Petersburg Revisited’ and the main target from ‘Redemption at Gontranno’, Sergei Zavorotko, is carrying one.
Double-barrelled Shotgun
During the first mission, ‘Anathema’ is the only mission in which you can find the Double-Barrelled shotgun being carried around by guards in front of the villa.
Sawn-off Shotgun
This one is a bit different as well. Not findable in the game, you have to finish at least two mission with SA ratings for the gun to unlock.
*Sniper Rifles*
W2000 Sniper
This gun can be found during two different missions: ‘Invitation To A Party’ and ‘St. Petersburg Revisited’. You can find it on an outside balcony in ‘Invitation To A Party’ and in ‘St. Petersburg Revisited’, Agent 17 is carrying it and you can pick it up upon killing him.

The silenced version of the W2000 Rifle needs to be collected for the achievement and you can find it in the final mission ‘Redemption at Gontranno’ being carried by some guards.
Dragunov SVD
The Russian rifle can be found during the three Russian missions: ‘St. Petersburg Stakeout’, ‘Kirov Park Meeting’ and ‘St. Petersburg Revisited’. Each of these missions has an agency pick up where you can find this weapon. Additionally, the weapon is available the house marked with an interest point in ‘Murder at the Bazaar’ and it’s also being carried by several enemies during ‘Redemption at Gontranno’.
R93 Sniper
The R93 Sniper is found in three missions: ‘Anathema’ (in the garage) / ‘Temple City Ambush’ (used by the sniper) and ‘Terminal Hospitability’ (in the temple).
M195 Sniper
During the mission ‘The Motorcade Interception’ , this weapons is found at the agency pickup.
Combat Crossbow
During the ‘Hidden Valley’ mission, this weapon is found at the agency cache.
All melee weapons collected (15G)
Silent Assassin: All melee weapons collected and displayed in the Hideout
Like the previous achievement, for this one you have to find and collect all of the melee weapons that can be found in the game. You have to pick every one of them and keep it in your possession until the mission has ended. Just picking them up and dropping them doesn’t count as collected. There are 6 of them and you can see below where to look for them:
Katana
During two missions – ‘At The Gates’ and ‘Shogun Showdown’ you can find this weapon. In ‘At The Gates’ it is carried by black ninjas inside the castle walls and the museum. Masahiro Hayamoto, a target, carries one in ‘Shogun Showdown’.
Kitchen Knife
The good ol’ Kitchen Knife can be in four different places: ‘Anathema’ (in the kitchen) / ‘The Gontranno Sanctuary’ (in the parcel that you find) / ‘Invitation To A Party’ (on the lower levels of the building where the chef is hanging around) and ‘Trackign Hayamoto’ (same room with fugu fish).
Fire Axe
The Fire Axe is found on two missions, which are ‘Basement Killing’ (inside the firemen’s dressing room) and ‘The Graveyard Shift’ (guard room in the east).
Gold Club
In ‘Anathema’ you will see Giuseppe Giuliani playing golf and after you kill him, you can take his club.
Combat Knife
In ‘Tubeway Torpedo’, Mikhail Bardachenko (a target) carries this weapon and it is the only place where you can get it.
Scalpel
This weapon can be found in of the few rooms in the basement of the ‘Terminal Hospitability’ mission.
After you collect all of these, the achievement will unlock.
Note: the Fiber Wire and Anaesthetic are given at the start of the game so you don’t need to ‘collect’ them.
All hand guns collected (15G)
Silent Assassin: All hand guns collected and displayed in the Hideout
To unlock the achievement, you have to collect all the hand guns that can be found in the game. For a complete list and their location see the achievement ‘Silent Assassin: All firearms collected’.

To unlock the achievement, you have to collect all the sniper rifles that can be found in the game. For a complete list and their location see the achievement ‘Silent Assassin: All firearms collected’.
1st Kill (10G)
Silent Assassin: A successful kill has been performed
It’s as simple as it sounds. You just have to kill someone whatever way you like, as long as they’re dead. I recommend the sawed-off for maximum satisfaction.
47 kills in a mission (45G)
Silent Assassin: A mission has been completed with precisely 47 kills
At the end of a mission, you should have exactly 47 kills, not one more or less. The easiest way is to keep adding them in your head until you get to 47 (make sure the target is dead before you reach 47) and the finish the mission. In the mission ‘Terminal Hospitability’ there are around 50 people in the entire level so it’s probably one of the best missions to try and get it.
Every moving person counts as a kill, be it civilian or ex-KGB member.
Headshot (15G)
Silent Assassin: A successful headshot has been performed
You have to shoot someone directly in the head with your weapon of choice and this achievement will unlock. If they don’t die from one hit, it probably means you missed.
Killed the wrong guy (10G)
Silent Assassin: An innocent person has been killed
For this achievement, you have to kill an unlucky civilian that caught you on a bad day. They will be displayed on the map with a transparent turquoise. The first person you will probably see in this game is a civilian. In the first mission, just look at the bottom of the hill and you will see the unlucky guy carrying some flowers.
Silent Assassin Secret Achievements
Samurai Gaijin (15G)
Silent Assassin: Obtained a katana from a ninja
During two missions, ‘At The Gates’ and ‘Shogun Showdown’, you will meet ninjas and killing them will allow you to pick up their katana. This achievement will be unlocked naturally if you are going after all the melee weapons.
Call the caddy (45G)
Silent Assassin: Killed 18 people using the golf club
The golf club is only found during the first mission, ‘Anathema’, and is carried by the target – Giuseppe Giuliani. After you kill him, get his club and just go postal everyone you see. Watch out though, because the guards will be carrying weapons so try this one on Easy. Also, kills are cumulative: if you kill 7 people in your first try and 11 after that, the achievement will unlock, but you have to finish the mission for this to count.
Humanist (20G)
Silent Assassin: Successfully used anaesthetic
The Anaesthetic will be in your possession at the start of the mission ‘Anathema’ and ‘Invitation To A Party’. To use it, you have to silently get behind a target with the anaesthetic and press RT to use it. You cannot use it if you are not behind the target and not in sneak mode.
Jack the Ripper (20G)
Silent Assassin: Killed using all three knives: scalpel, kitchen and combat knife
The 3 knives cannot all be found in the same mission. In ‘Tubeway Torpedo’, Mikhail Bardachenko (a target) carries this weapon and it is the only place where you can get it. The scalpel can be found in of the few rooms in the basement of the ‘Terminal Hospitability’ mission. After acquiring each of them just kill one person with each and the achievement is yours.
Redrum (20G)
Silent Assassin: Killed using the fire axe
The axe can be found in the firemen’s dressing room in ‘Basement Killing’ and in the eastern guard room in ‘The Graveyard Shift’. After you get a hold of it, go Jack Nicholson on someone and the achievement should unlock.

5 Professional Silent Assassins (45G)
Contracts: 5 Silent Assassin ratings awarded on Professional difficulty
As in the previous game, at the end of each mission you receive a rating based on a number of factors and Silent Assassin is the highest one possible and it’s achieved the same: by being the perfect hitman. There are a few things to consider when trying to achieve this rating. First of all, the most important thing is that you can only injure and kill your target and no one else, unless it can be classified as an ‘accident’. No one else can witness you doing this. You also have to be very stealthy; your disguise cannot be blown and you cannot be caught in a restricted area. Killing police or civilians is the fastest way to lose the SA rating, as is killing guards or any other type of enemies. In a nutshell, avoid people as much as possible. The final thing is that you also have to kill your target stealthily. Shooting is not allowed either, even if you are using a silencer. Sometimes, the game will present you the opportunity of staging accidents for your target and if possible, this is always the best route to achieving a Silent Assassin rating. A new addition is that you cannot be seen on CCTV cameras and if you are, to achieve the SA rating, you have to retrieve the security tape. It is also important to hide the body of anyone you kill (which ideally is only your target)
On the harder difficulties (Expert and Professional) there is another addition: you cannot leave any clues behind. Counting as clues are basically your suit (if you changed disguise) and any custom weapons that you must bring home.

Professional mode complete (45G)
Contracts: Completed Professional difficulty
This achievement is story related so it cannot be missed.
Complete the game on Professional difficulty and the achievement is yours. The game can be quite difficult so you will probably restart your missions a few times.
The difficulty achievements DO stack so you only have to finish the game on this for the ‘Normal’ and ‘Expert’ achievements to unlock as well. This is obviously the hardest difficulty and it might be a bit tricky, requiring you to restart the mission a few times.
All firearms collected (45G)
Contracts: All firearms collected and displayed in the training room
For this achievement, you have to collect all the firearms available in the game and for them to be on display in your training room.

Gold Desert Eagle – Dual-Wielded
This particular weapon can be found during ‘Asylum Aftermath’, but with a twist. You need to obtain a key card that is only found in the mission ‘The Wang Fou Incident’. It will be on Lee Hong’s desk.
To get it, you need to go to the mansion during the mission, but there won’t be any maps to guide you. Luckily, the previous mission was in the same area and has all the necessary maps so you need to try and remember them. In the restaurant, there is an elevator which can take you to the sewers and after managing to get to the other side there will be another elevator, which will finally take you to the mansion. Lee Hong’s office is on the second floor.
You then need to start the mission ‘Asylum Aftermath’ again, where you need to head to the cryo lab. Follow the green escape route on the map and go down the short staircase at the end of a passageway. Unlock the door with the card and the Dual Gold Desert Eagles are there.
Magnum 500

Contracts: All shotguns collected and displayed in the Training room
To unlock the achievement, you have to collect all the shotguns that can be found in the game. For a complete list and their location see the achievement ‘All firearms collected’.
All sniper rifles collected (10G)
Contracts: All sniper rifles collected and displayed in the Training room
To unlock the achievement, you have to collect all the sniper rifles that can be found in the game. For a complete list and their location see the achievement ‘All firearms collected’.
1st Kill (10G)
Contracts: A successful kill has been performed
It’s as simple as it sounds. You just have to kill someone whatever way you like, as long as they’re dead. I recommend the sawed-off for maximum satisfaction.
47 kills in a mission (45G)
Contracts: A mission has been completed with precisely 47 kills
At the end of a mission, you should have exactly 47 kills, not one more or less. The easiest way is to keep adding them in your head until you get to 47 (make sure the target is dead before you reach 47) and the finish the mission. In the mission ‘The Meat King’s Party’ there are around 60 people in the entire level so it’s probably one of the best missions to try and get it.
Every moving person counts as a kill, be it civilian or a fat warlord.
Headshot (15G)
Contracts: A successful headshot has been performed
You have to shoot someone directly in the head with your weapon of choice and this achievement will unlock. If they don’t die from one hit, it probably means you missed.
Killed the wrong guy (10G)
Contracts: An innocent person has been killed
For this achievement, you have to kill an unlucky civilian that caught you on a bad day. They will be displayed on the map with a transparent turquoise.
Poisonous (15G)
Contracts: You poisoned a victim
First you need to find poison during the same mission, if you want to poison someone. Most commonly it’s found as rat poison, but it can also be found in a vial. You don’t poison someone directly; you poison something that they are going to eat or drink. The easiest mission in which you can get this is ‘The Bjarkhov Bomb’ by pouring laxatives in Fabian Fuchs’ soup. Those can be found in the kitchen and after collecting them pour them in the pot on the stove, but make sure no one sees you.
Firey Fire (15G)
Contracts: You used explosives on a victim
This achievement can only be unlocked in three missions: ‘Slaying a Dragon’, ‘The Wang Four Incident’ and in ‘The Bjarkhov Bomb’. You have to put the explosive on any car and as soon as someone gets in it, it will explode. An alternative is throwing a gas can down the chimney in ‘The Beldingford Manor’ or sinking the ship with the aforementioned explosives in ‘The Bjarkhov Bomb’.
Contracts Secret Achievements
Double Eagle (10G)
Contracts: You picked up the Gold Desert Eagle Dual
[Minigun (10G)
Contracts: You picked up the minigun
The Mini Gun is found in ‘Asylum Aftermath’, but to actually acquire it, you have to finish the game once before. During ‘The Wang Fou Incident’ you will find a key card on Lee Hong’s desk. After that, you have to replay the ‘Asylum Aftermath’ mission and the weapon is behind a locked door that is now possible to open with the key card. A patient will be holding the gun.
[Floater (10G)
Contracts: You drowned someone
This achievement can be unlocked during ‘Traditions of the Trade’. There is a main swimming pool with a man in it. You have to stealthily approach him (you cannot let him see you) and equip your fiber wire. Press RT and after the short cutscene, the achievement will unlock.
Termination (45G)
Contracts: You retrieved the SPAS-12 from the florist
To achieve this one, you have to search in ‘Traditions of the Trade’. There will be a florist that has a particular flower box inside which this weapon can be found.
Ghost Buster (45G)
Contracts: You killed the ghost
The ghost appears as an easter egg in “Traditions of the Trade”. There is a long corridor leading to room 109 that has four curtains being blown by wind. You have to enter the corridor quickly to see the ghost or else it will get away. If it disappears or it does not show up at all, just exit the corridor and go back in after 5 seconds. Knife or fiber wire should do the trick. It might be a bit hard at first to catch it, but the thing is to just go after it as quickly as possible.
As I mentioned in the introduction, found on the same disk you can also find Hitman: Blood Money, but it has a separate list of achievements. For a list of these achievements and how to achieve them, read the guide for the game here.
If you are with me so far and you got all the achievements, congratulations! You have just unlocked all the achievements in Hitman HD trilogy and you have earned yourself 1000G.
This is my first achievement guide here and I hope I can help some fellow gamers with unlocking the achievements. If you have any questions or suggestions, please post them here or send me a PM. Thank you!

Silent Assassin: A mission has been completed with precisely 47 kills
At the end of a mission, you should have exactly 47 kills, not one more or less.
In ‘Tubeway Torpedo’, Mikhail Bardachenko (a target) carries this weapon and it is the only place where you can get it.

The difficulty achievements DO stack so you only have to finish the game on Professional for all the achievements.

SG220.S – Dual-Wielded
Complete the mission ‘Traditions of the Trade’ with a Silent Assassin rating and you will be rewarded this weapon.
Gold Desert Eagle
This weapon is very rare and only three specific persons in the game carry it. Alistair Beldingford’s companion will have one in ‘Beldingford Manor’. Rutgert Van Leuven has one in ‘Rendezvous in Rotterdam’ and Zun carries one in ‘The Lee Hong Assassination’.
Magnum 500

The Mini Gun is found in ‘Asylum Aftermath’, but to actually acquire it, you have to finish the game once before. During ‘The Wang Fou Incident’ you will find a key card on Lee Hong’s desk. W2000 Sniper
In ‘Traditions of the Trade’, ‘‘Slaying a Dragon’ and ‘The Seafood Massacre’ you will start with the weapon. In ‘Hunter and Hunted’ there will be a cabinet in 47’s room where this weapon is stored. Also, the weapon is found in ‘The Wang Fou Incident’ in the guard’s quarters and in the weapons depot in ‘The Lee Hong Assassination’.
All melee weapons found (10G)
Contracts: You have found all melee weapons
Like the previous achievement, for this one you have to find and collect all of the melee weapons that can be found in the game. You have to pick every one of them at least once. Unlike other weapon achievements, just picking them up and dropping them is enough. There are 9 of them to be found and you can see below where to look for them:
Fire poker
The Fire Poker is found in ‘Bjakrhov Bomb’ near the fireplace where Fuchs is dining and in ‘Beldingford Manor’, inside the actual manor, near a fireplace again.
Pool Cue
This weapon can be found in three missions, on all occasions on a pool table. ‘Rendezvous in Rotterdam’ has one in the bar, ‘Deadly Cargo’ has one in the bar as well, on the second floor and in ‘Beldingford Manor’, on the second floor again.
Shovel
Found only during ‘Beldingford Manor’, in the middle of the hedge maze.
Stun Gun
The asylum’s staff will carry this weapon only during ‘Asylum Aftermath’.
Kitchen Knife
Found in seven different locations: found in a lot of different place in ‘The Meat King’s Party’ and ‘Rendezvous in Rotterdam’. The resident chef will have one in both ‘The Seafood Massacre’ and ‘The Lee Hong Assassination’. There is also one in the galley of the ship in ‘Deadly Cargo’ as well as in the kitchen of the police station. A patient is using one in ‘Asylum Aftermath’ and in ‘Traditions of the Trade’ there is one in room 109.
Meat Cleaver
Malcom Sturrock carries on in ‘The Meat King’s Party’ and in ‘The lee Hong Assassination’ the chef carries one around.
Bolt Gun
In the man butchering area, there is one in ‘The Meat King’s Party’.
Chinese Sword
Only during ‘The Lee Hong Assassination’ there will be one, carried by Lee Hong himself.
