Hello,
I just got my online copy of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves two days ago (after preorder) and to my dismay my Hori Fighting Stick Alpha Official Microsoft does not work. When I start the game the whole joystick goes numb and nothing works in the game, not the buttons or the stick. The joystick remains turned on because the main button brings me to the Xbox menu and I can turn on the microphone/rotate between users (two small buttons right of the main menu button). However the joystick does not work and I can't play the game unless using a pad, which I don't want to. I want the best gaming experience and in a 2D fighting game this implies using a joystick.
I have contacted SNK (the game manufacturer) but they say they are not responsible for devices; therefore I have contacted Hori and they have not answered yet.
The joystick works plenty anywhere else, so I assume this is limited/bad coding in the game. I have not tempered the joystick in any way (I have not changed physical buttons, octogonal, even layout): it is inside warrant.
Can you please help? The joystick costed me about €130 and the game, €60. I am not a rich person. I can't afford to buy another joystick.
