Xbox 360 How are the controls in Kinect: Star Wars?

I was wondering if anyone can vouch for well this game works with the Kinect? I am considering purchasing this game for a child that gets frustrated easily. Does the light saber on screen flow well with hand movements? Or is there considerable latency? Any information would be much appreciated!
